Serene Mountain Retreat

We had the most peaceful and relaxing stay at this beautiful mountain home! Traveling with a 3-month-old and a 1-month-old can be a challenge, but this place made it so easy and enjoyable. The home was clean, quiet, and full of thoughtful amenities, like a crib and rocking chair, that helped us feel right at home with two little ones.The spacious deck with stunning mountain views quickly became our favorite spot. We spent hours enjoying the fresh air and peaceful surroundings. The outdoor dining area was perfect for evening meals, and the patio furniture was incredibly comfortable, ideal for relaxing with a cup of coffee.Being just a short walk from a hiking trail was a huge bonus. We took a family hike with the babies in carriers, and the trip felt like the perfect balance of rest and adventure.Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a calm, family friendly mountain getaway. James was an excellent host and we created wonderful family memories!

Perfect for Families

This place was great. It was an easy check in/out process and communication was easy throughout the stay. There is plenty to do in the house as well as out of it. We used the hot tub with 2 clear nights and the trail 50 yards from the driveway too. The kids enjoyed the open space and games and we are already looking forward to our next family trip with this property.

Amazing get away

Can not say enough of the property! The house is beautiful,well decorated with plenty of space and storage ! They provide all the kitchen necessities needed and more. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and hot tub.

Nature connection

Village Well hosted our second Adventure Camp in Arnold. After last year's event, we realized we needed a bigger space and this house was PERFECTION. Each and every woman loved the space, the trees, the hot tub. There is not one single thing we would change. We'll be back!

Quick family getaway

The house and location were absolutely beautiful. There was plenty of room for six adults to sleep and hang out. The house was clean and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the deck! Even during a freak snowstorm in May, we still had a blast hanging out in the jacuzzi. Trails are nearby too. We enjoy hiking, and despite the rain (which eventually turned to snow), we ventured up to the top of the World Trail. It's an easy hike and close by. After returning to the house, we fired up the BBQ and had an amazing dinner with family around the table. Overall, this is a fantastic place for a family getaway. Thanks James for letting us enjoy your place.

Peaceful and perfect

We gathered our children from East and West Coasts together here for a long weekend. It was just a perfect relaxing home with beautiful vistas. We even got a beautiful snowfall our first morning at the house. We loved that all the rooms had king size beds for our adult children. The kitchen was more than adequately stocked for enjoying family meals on a snuggly winter weekend. Bear Valley ski resort is a short drive up the mountain and is a really nice visit in the winter.

Spacious and comfortable

My girlfriends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We especially loved the relaxing on the back deck, which has a gorgeous view of garden and trees. The layout is wonderful for a group, with plenty of space to spread out. James is an exceptionally responsive host.

Went for a girls getaway, this home was beautiful! Has comfy beds and was very clean. Neighborhood was quit and peaceful. The owner of the home was easy to communicate with. Would definitely rent this property again!

Fantastic

It was just like the pictures. It was fantastic in every way. Plenty of space to spread out, the deck was my favorite place, and proximity to the Arnold Rim trail was amazing! We would absolutely recommend this to everyone. Host was very friendly and this is the best rental I have ever stayed in!!

Another beautiful and comfortable stay

James is a top notch host! The house is gorgeous, spacious, and feels like home, not just some random rental house. All the furniture and linens are fresh and new. The best part for us is that there’s an actual crib in the house- not just a pack n’ play like every other place you’ll find. This is our second time staying at James’s house, and we were just as happy this time as last time. James is so nice, responsive, and accommodating. If ever I had a question, he quickly answered my text. Definitely coming back for more trips in the future! Thank you, James!
