Great place to get away and unplug! We spent a week at the house with four older teenagers and everyone had a blast! The view of the lake from the house is beautiful and the kids loved swimming and fishing daily. The house had three floors so no one ever felt crowded. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck playing cards every night while watching the lake. Did I mention we had the lake completely to ourselves for four of the days?! Scott was super responsive and the house had everything we needed/wanted including a crockpot, coffee pot, Keurig, inflatable tubes for the lake and a dartboard for the kids!

Over priced for the quality of the stay.

Nice and roomy. Loved the roomy bedrooms. Stains on the carpet in the hallway, took a picture when we arrived. No coffee, no paper towels. Paid the cleaning fee but had to remove our own trash. It was nice but not the quality of our last 2 Vrbo stays.

Quiet cabin

My friends and I were looking for a relaxing trip and this cabin was just that. We were able to all relax and enjoy the lake. The place was big enough to sleep all of us. We met a neighbor and they were nice as well!

Family Summer Vacation

Host is super responsive and the property has pretty much everything you need. The lake is pretty small, but super clear and great for bass fishing! Personally, I feel that the “sleeps 12” is a stretch, and think the furniture and beds would not be adequate for that many. Inflatable mattress needs to be replaced as it deflates within a couple hours. Loved the touch of having puzzles and movies available, as it was great to have during rainy times. Overall, really nice place to spend our week!

Perfect getaway for group of friends

Everything was perfect! Communication with Scott was super easy and the location was super nice. Not sure how Scott did it but he got us perfect weather! The pontoon boat was an awesome perk and the private lake was great. The only thing that kind of sucks is that the dump you have to take your garbage is 30 mins away but that’s to be expected in the north woods.

The property was beautiful. We really enjoyed our ability to use Scott's pontoon. A few things on his information notice was outdated. This did not cause an issue. He is very easy to contact for information.

Very Comfortable, Peaceful Place

Great place to spend time with family. The teenage age grandchildren loved the pontoon boat, swiming off the boat and the fishing was amazing. The beds were very comfortable and surroundings so quiet. I highly recommend this this place.

Great Family Get Away

We loved staying here for our family vacation. The location was beautiful. We loved going out on the pontoon boat to fish and swim. We went to the Camp 5 Steam Train in Laona and the kids loved it! The house had everything we needed. Would like to go back here again for our next family vacation!

Summer Fun

Had the pleasure of staying at the lake house and my family wasn’t disappointed. The property was clean, modern and everything we needed for a fun few days away from the everyday grind of city life. The location was perfect and private and my 2 young boys enjoyed fishing off the dock and pontoon boat which was included in the stay. I think their favorite part was being able to jump off the pontoon boat in the middle of the lake. Best of all the property is pet friendly and our dog was able to join us. We will definitely be back!!!

Perfect Family Lake House

I picked this property to celebrate my 40th Birthday with the family over the weekend largely due to the excellent reviews and the pontoon boat which was an awesome addition! Everyone in our party was very impressed not only by the location but also by the beautiful house, the gorgeous lake views and the convenience of having everything in one spot! The owner of the property was very easy to communicate & deal with and responded super fast to any questions I had! The house had everything you could think of & was more than big enough for our party of 6! I would recommend to bring your own pillows since the ones provided were somewhat flat I know I sleep much better when I have my own pillow! Having the pontoon boat was such a great addition to the property we spent a lot of time fishing on it but had the best luck just fishing off the dock! Cruising on the peaceful lake was very relaxing! The lake is a no wake lake so you can’t go faster than 5knots. We loved spotting deer in the surrounding woods almost every day & how peaceful and quiet the location was. We all had Verizon for our phone provider and had no issues with service! The pictures don’t do this property justice, we loved every minute of our stay and would love to come back years to come! Thanks Scott for providing such a beautiful rental property!

Lovely house on the lake

Family Vacation 2021

This was a first time using Vrbo. Scott was great at answering a first-timers questions. The house was beautiful! Having the pontoon was amazing. We went out every day to spend in the center of the lake swimming. By every day I mean 5-6 hours every day. We only left the house once, to eat at a supper club, which we do every year. There was a variety of games that included something for everyone. We had 7 adults and 2 children (4 and 7). We spent several meals out on the deck and the table inside accommodated 9 people comfortably. We are a camping family and this was our first transition to renting a place and the one thing everyone agreed on was having a dishwasher was so exciting!! Thanks Scott!

Perfect and relaxing

Home was clean and beds were comfy. The loon sang to us in the morning and fishing was fun. Lots to explore nearby. Goodman Park was a highlight with the waterfalls. Local restaurants are good if you don't want to cook. Very quiet. Would 100% recommend.

We had a great time here. The place was very clean with a lot of extras included. There were games for the kids, cleaning supplies, well equipped kitchen & numerous other things available to use. Thank you again Scott for letting us come into your home to make memories with my family. The fishing wasn't very good but, we made up for it by spending alot of time at the beach at Camp 6 (Laurel Lake). :)

Nice, cozy vacation home

We had a nice time during our stay. The house was cozy and comfortable for our group. The lakeview was gorgeous. Pontoon was a nice addition. We caught lot of bass fish! The owner's response was great. Overall, a nice place for 10-12 people.
