Stunning old renovated apartment with beautiful outdoor patio. 2 floors with 2 bd and 2 ba, perfect for 2 couples or family. Communication with owner Michel was excellent. Highly recommend this location in Arles, easy access to all of Arles, everything was 10-15 minutes walk away. Very quiet old neighborhood.

History and contemporary combined

Four friends traveling together had an amazing stay at this wonderful home. Perfect location in the old town and the most gracious host, Michael, that you could ask for. Apartment was beautifully appointed and wonderfully equipped. We couldn’t have asked for more! I highly recommend it!

Loving Provence

We have stayed in many Vrbo places around the world. NEVER have we stayed somewhere where we made to feel like family! Michel was amazing! He was a true host to us. He spent time with us, guided us and really made sure our stay was special! The home itself was amazing! He remodeled this place personally and very thoughtfully. AC in each rooms, well equipped with everything you need and he still put in extras for us! We stayed with our 18 year old son as a high school graduation gift and could have had alll of our kids with us comfortably. 2 full bathrooms and plenty of beds. It was almost like 2 separate apartments! And the beautiful terrace was calling for us to spend time there as well. It was a perfect location to “live” the town of Arles and an excellent base location for the region where every major attraction is a relatively short and beautiful drive. We DEFINITELY look forward to coming back! Not only to stay but to see and learn more from Michel! Thank you Michel for an amazing experience for us and our son! We will remember your place and look forward to coming back. It is meeting people like Michel that remind us of how wonderful it can be to meet people from all over the world! He really made our stay so much more amazing. We now feel like we have a friend in Arles!

Wonderful stay in a quiet neighborhood

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property. The home is charming, fully equipped and very comfortable. We found the downstairs bedroom very comfortable (we didn't use the upstairs bedroom), and we loved the outdoor space. We really liked the neighborhood--out of the most touristy areas but within walking distance of everything. Our host, Michel, was really fantastic--friendly, helpful and full of good information about the area, Arles restaurants and things to do. He really went above and beyond in terms of service. Only one small caveat--if you have mobility issues, this might not be the right place for you as the entry stairs are very old and steep. For everyone else--stay here! It's really great, and if we come back to Arles, we would certainly rent here again.

Maison très bien située, bien rénovée par Michel qui nous a réservé un excellent accueil et dispensé de très bons conseils pour visiter toutes les curiosités à ne pas manquer sur Arles. Maison idéale

Belle maison typique complètement rénovée par le propriétaire, idéalement située au coeur de la Roquette et parfaitement au calme, pratique, confortable, climatisée, spacieuse. Logement idéal pour un week-end de visite sur Arles. Hyper centre. Nous avons garé la voiture dans le garage. Nous avons tout fait à pied. Michel, est juste parfait. Ses explications sont pertinentes. Et comme il a l’habitude de dire, « l’idéal est de se perdre dans Arles » Nous conseillons vivement cet hébergement. Literie, ménage, emplacement, décoration. Fantastic appartment

We enjoyed our 4 days in Arles very much and would have loved to stay longer.The 2 story house,that Michel just recently remodeled is charming and beautiful and has the extra bonus of a big garage. The kitchen is fully stocked with all essentials.The 2 bathrooms were a bonus for us,a family of 4.We enjoyed the AC after a long day in the warm weather a lot. Michel was a pleasure to meet.He was always accommodating ,helpful and flexible with our changing schedule. We would recommend Michel's place to all our friends and family.We hope to come back soon. Charmant fonctionnel et bien situé

Nous avions choisi Arles pour notre rencontre familiale. Toute la famille a été charmée par notre hébergement , ancienne demeure, rénovée avec poutre et pierres apparentes et de bon goût. Il faisait trop frais pour profiter de la belle terrasse. Le garage pour nos deux voitures a été très pratique. Notre hôte nous a donné les excellents conseils de visites et restauration, pour ce court séjour qui nous a ravi.

fabulous Arles space

If you're staying in Arles this is the place to book. Michel has remodeled a space in the old quarter and has left nothing lacking - high quality kitchen appliances and tasteful furniture all in a spacious apartment that retains much of the 2000 year old texture and feel of this city of ancient Roman ruins. Narrow, cobbled streets, an easy walk to cafes, galleries and ruins, and a delightful bakery just a 1 minute stroll away. The old quarter and apartment are not very suitable for the disabled, and this is the only limitation. The space even includes a sizable upper level deck perfect for happy hour, and a smaller lower level, more secluded, deck where we had coffee and pastries each morning. We give this our highest recommendation - truly a delightful property in a delightful city and a very accommodating host. 5 stars all the way around!
