"Have been wanting to stay here for years and it was well worth the wait. We were welcomed by Christina who made us feel at home and showed us to our room (Ward's Stone) which was immaculate, spacious and has a large bathroom with rainfall shower. The pub was busy (it's obviously popular with locals, a good sign) but there's lots of places to sit so that wasn't a problem. We had a few drinks and had supper that evening. "Lovely clean rooms, great shower! Very doggie friendly. Roaring fires and beautiful food. 10oz steak and peppercorn sauce cooked to perfection. The Coffee and tiramisu sundae exceptional. We will be back!"

"I stayed at the Fenwick a couple of times now travelling on business and enjoyed my stays. The rooms are very well presented and always nice a warm. Good food, especially breakfast. I think the road outside does not do the hotel any favours, but once your inside you can forget the road."

"Beautiful old building and neat gardens, staff helpful and attentive even though few of them. Excellent food, veggie available on each menu. Comfortable rooms, nice toiletries, big bath, plenty hot drink makings. Lovely and peaceful."

"Room was great with amazing views. Friendly and lovely staff.. Great location. Also, high compliments for the food we had there. We thought the main bedding could be better with a bit more blackout curtain/blinds as the ambient lights outside were on for a longer period at night - these are some feedback for the sake of it. Will be going back for sure. "
