Enjoy your stay at a ground floor apt, in our eco-friendly, solar-powered building near the sea. It is suitable for 5 guests, it is functionally furnished, and consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 private bathroom and the main area of the living room, the dining area and the kitchen. The residence includes shared Parking, garden & BBQ facilities. Ideal place for relaxation away from the city buzz!

The Space:
In the northwest and quieter side of the island, you can find this unique eco friendly property, overlooking the sea and the green hills, in a total private area of 8.000m², just 1,6 km from the village. The property is built according to traditional architecture and utilizes all modern eco-friendly solutions. It comprises of double wall structure with insulation and stone covering, twist and turn double windows, wooden frames with reclination for natural ventilation, mosquito screens, low consumption bulbs (as electricity is generated by solar panels), solar hot water heater, spacious BBQ facilities and parking area.

The ground floor apartment measures 80m², it has a comfortably furnished living area, which opens onto a patio that enjoys lovely west coast views. There is a spacious main area including the sitting and dining areas, as well as, a well equipped kitchen with all the basic amenities for preparing a meal (fridge, gas cooker, kitchen appliances, table-clothes and all kinds of pots, utensils, pans, bowls, plates). There are 2 bedrooms with double beds and big closets and a big sofa in the sitting area that opens and transforms into a double bed. The apt has also a large private bathroom with built in shower.

The Neighborhood:
Ammouliani is the only inhabited island of Halkidiki and is a delight to visitors of all tastes, since it has it all within 4.5km². Located 110km from Thessaloniki’s Airport, it is connected with Tripiti port by frequent ferryboat routes, lasting only 10 minutes.

We invite you to enjoy your coffee while watching the beautiful sunset. For those looking for a bit of adventure, within 10 minutes walking distance you will find Karagatsia beach, ideal place for those interested in snorkeling. You can also either relax and soak in the sun, or enjoy a freshly prepared sandwich or coffee at the local canteen. Visit the village and don’t miss to visit also Alikes beach, the largest and well organized beach on the island, with beach bars and water sport facilities. Extra tip: Take the donkey cart to get around, and live a genuine transportation experience!

Day trips are also an option. Visit the nearby islands of Gaidouronisi, Tigani Drenia and Pontiki to enjoy swimming in the crystal clear turquoise waters and dine on the sand at the makeshift taverns there. And of course, embark on a lovely cruise to see Mount Athos and its world famous monasteries.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
• Please remember to use the electricity that our panels have generated during the day. The panels will be generating power in the daylight hours utilising light photons. The power is generated on average between 8am – 5pm. However, the peak time is between 10am – 2pm. Plan ahead to use your high energy drawing appliances in this peak time. Be careful and plan how you do this, as you do not want to increase your electricity usage to more than the solar panels are producing. Please do not use more than 800 W of electricity at one time, thus we regret that you cannot use hair dryers or iron. All other appliances (e.g. laptops, tablets, mobile phones) can be used without concern.

• The apartment is inaccessible for people with disabilities and wheelchair users!
