"Very clean accomodations & well appointed home with comfy beds & a wonderful, peaceful setting. It was exactly what we needed! We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and also our quiet morning cup of coffee sitting on the porch & watching the birds. "When we arrived it was out of the way and near the golf course… seeing the ports potties in the yard next door was off putting but there was no smell so it was easy to look past them. "We loved our stay. David was such a generous host. We had a unique situation where we were in town for a family emergency. David was kind, empathetic, flexible, generous and accommodating. We can’t thank him enough. We will be visiting Decatur again over the next few years and hope to stay on this property. It is really close to Millikin University which was a huge bonus. "

"We rented this vrbo during a heat wave, so we spent a lot longer inside than out. The AC systems worked well and we had a great time using the kitchen and media area. Id love to come back sometime to use the baskwtball, pickleball, and bocce ball courts as well as the outdoor bar. Zack and Bex were great hosts and responded very quickly.
A few small thinga to improve:
Some of the fans did not work, i expect the remotes just need a new battery. The AC could not go lower than 75. This is fine...

"I am an advid traveler, and I enjoy all types of lodging accommodations. However, this property was not presented as described. I never received check-in instructions nor the code to access the property even though the information was requested days before my arrival.
