It is spread over two levels: on entering we are greeted by a large and bright open space with exposed beams in which there is a living room with TV area, sofa and two armchairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob, refrigerator, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and American coffee machine. From the kitchen, the French window opens onto a large balcony furnished with table and chairs with a magnificent lake view. On the same floor we find a bathroom with bathtub. Going down the stairs we find the sleeping area composed of a double bedroom with access to the garden, a bedroom with bunk beds and a bathroom with shower.
The flat can accommodate up to 4 people and is equipped with Wi-Fi.
The flat does not have air conditioning but fans will be available for guests.ACCESSIBILITY AND PARKINGThe flat does not have a private parking space. Free public parking spaces are available from 200 to 500 metres away.
VILLA LIMONE can only be reached on foot along a short stretch of road. The entrance is on the first floor of an old historical residence. The flat is internally arranged on two floors.ARGEGNO & SURROUNDINGSArgegno is a very lively village throughout the year. The village offers shops, restaurants, bars, a pharmacy, post office, banks, schools, a beautiful equipped beach, a charming little harbour, a characteristic historical centre, but above all countless natural beauties that can be admired thanks to pleasant walks. Well connected by public transport via boats and buses, it is easily accessible to and from all lake destinations. It is 20 km from Como and 15 km from Cernobbio, where there is the motorway entrance to Milan and Lugano.
In Argegno you can rent a boat or bicycles, relax at the Lido, reach the village of Pigra (by cable car or by car), take the boat to explore the other villages on the lake and walk in the middle of nature.
On Monday mornings, there is a market on the Lungo Lago di Argegno: fish, cheese, cold cuts, flowers and clothes. The necessities at hand!
There are 2 small grocery shops in Argegno, but the nearest supermarket is called Sigma, in the village of Lenno, 6 km away.GETTING AROUNDPlease note that the taxi service on Lake Como is not always reliable or readily available. We therefore advise against relying on it once you have arrived at your destination. We suggest evaluating alternative options such as public transport (buses and boats), hiring a car or using pre-booked private drivers.
In the centre of Argegno, the boat and bus stop will be at your disposal. We recommend travelling by car, as the flat has nearby public parking spaces that are free of charge. Easy access to the airports, Milan and Lugano, all of which are about an hour's drive away.
