Accurate Listing Would Have Helped
Great location, spacious apartment, pool is fabulous, terrace is huge and well equipped but despite the listing...
* there is NO aircon in the apartment (they have now changed their website listing!)
* check-in tells you that WiFi is on a dongle that needs collecting from Menaggio and is limited to 10 euros. We then discovered there IS WiFi in this building but it's never worked in this apartment
* the kitchen is NOT well-equipped. We eventually got a working microwave but it took 4 days. There are 2 rings and loads of pans that are too big to use on them. No corkscrew to be found, or scissors!
All in, if we had known about these before we rented we wouldn't have chosen this place, however, if you're aware and happy then it's a great apartment in a fantastic location. The staff er dealt with at the office were also polite and welcoming. They offered us a generous refund but we are still chasing them for payment of it, 3 weeks later.
