Peaceful Villa with Great Pool

Overall we enjoyed our stay in Lemon Villa. The villa is set in a peaceful location next to a lemon grove. Check-in was easy since the key was in a key-safe outside. The owner had kindly left us a few essential supplies which we appreciated. The house was clean and the linen supplied was more than enough. The pool was in very good condition and any issues mentioned in previous reviews had been fixed. The upstairs terraces had nice views out towards the sea. In terms of cooking there was everything that you would need and the BBQ outside was also good. On the negative side - the villa decor is a little dated and there are a lot of "decorations" everywhere that have to be moved before you can actually use any table. Personally I would get rid of all of this stuff. The villa is relatively near to the restaurants on the sea front but the walk there is not pleasant as there are not footpaths. We chose to use the car instead, but it wasn't an issue. Really super sunsets from the upper house terrace and the restaurant on the seafront.

Got to villa and was saddened by overall condition. Silicone black around showers and baths. Shower screen in one bedroom siliconed in position, so very difficult to use. Attachments such shower heads, towel rails all need attention. Cupboards in kitchen had dirty tea stains, very old dirt marks, drawers dirty, just felt grubby. Storage was poor, 5 hangers for a 3 bedrvilla ?. Electric powerpoint in one bedroom did not work. In one batroom shaver point did not work and as this was the only one in villa so very poor and so we had to buy an adapter to charge 4 persons electric tooth brushes. Swimming pool has been repaired countless times to a very low standard. There were loose slabs, uneven slabs cracked slabs and bfoken tiles. All of this could have been rectified and made our stay a lot more pleasant off season when problems had arisen. We have been to cyprus countless over the past 10 years and we know what to expect in a villa and this did not meet our expectations

Cramped outside, not so private

House and pool not ideally located, forever chasing the sun and avoiding shade due to restricted area around the pool. Pool cleaned daily usually before 7am just beware of the cleaner looking through windows. Excellent directions to property but spoiled when arriving in darkness to find no porch light on to guide making it very difficult to locate key safe and dial in the numbers for access.

Excellent accommodation

A very peaceful setting , there are some local bars and restaurants but we found having a car very useful for exploring the area and the variety of places to eat and visit. We also used a local taxi company that were professional and very helpful The private pool definitely added to the holiday being able to relax in a quiet village. All the locals were really friendly We would definitely book through Eos travel again

A great place for relax

The villa is the best place to spend your holiday in a relaxing way.I was with my sister's family and the kids were very happy too. Very good positioning and the hosts were exceptional.

Very nice and generous owners. This property does not have a dishwasher. Quite a lot of agricultural machine noise. Car essential as restaurants are not within walking distance. We had a great holiday

Peaceful and relaxing home from home

Four if us stayed at the property. We all had a great time in a lovely home in a wonderfully peaceful area. Family that look after the property were very welcoming. Offering fruit from the trees around the property and Maria who visited a few times to clean and change laundry. Evertime we saw her she greeted us with a huge smile, wine and her delicious homemade biscuits and cakes. We were all sad to leave but hopefully we will return at some point in the future.

Idyllic house with well designed pool

We had a wonderful week at lemon grove villa.... a well equipped house with a perfect layout. The pool is extremely well designed. The house has a safe ( which isn’t mentioned in the write up). The owners are extremely kind & helpful. The area has three small supermarkets supplying all the basic needs & there are a few restaurants on the front.... not too far to walk even with elderly parents. If you need a taxi whilst in the area we would recommend you use the company that EOS supply details for.... everyone else has a death wish!! EOS as a company are extremely helpful & I would not hesitate to recommend the villa or the company. Thanks

We had a lovely holiday. The villa was clean and very well-equipped. The staff Fytos and Maria were excellent, both friendly and discreet. Argaka is a quiet and lovely place and the villa is excellently positioned to allow guests to enjoy the local amenities and also to enjoy their own privacy. We would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Wonderful welcome!

I had the pleasure of staying in this lovely villa for a week n April 2018. The welcome that the owner,s Fystos and Maria, afforded us was second to none; the homemade cookies and cake (not to mention the wine!) were a lovely touch. The villa was very well equipped with everything that we could possibly need and was spotlessly clean. Fystos was most helpful in suggesting places to visit (with directions too!). It was our first visit to this villa and it will most definately NOT be our last. EOS travel were extremely helpful and proffessional and responded promptly to all of my emails and queries. I look forward very much to booking another holiday here in 2019.

The villa is very nice with very nice and friendly owner. We enjoyed the privacy at the swimming pool. The kichen allowed us to prepare our own food sometimes. We could easily enjoy the sunset while having a tea at the garden.

Very clean and spacious

Lovely quite rural area but only a 10 minute drive to the nearest town. We found most of the restaurants to be overpriced. A meal for 3 adults 2 nights ago although we did have 2 bottles of wine was €170. The meal was mediocre at best. Most of the restaurants in Polis are priced about the same.

Comfortable villa in a beautiful location

We stayed at the beginning of September and enjoyed every minute! Spacious and well equipped villa with a nice swimming pool. Lovely quiet location amongst the citrus orchards and lovely sea view. Close to the shops and beach- we went to Santa Barbara where there is a nice bar with good food and the Kiosk provided necessities and more! Nice furniture with comfortable beds. Kitchen a bit dated but well equipped with all the stuff you need in large numbers so no need to wash the same cups and glasses over and over again. Offers a good deal of privacy so you can hardly see and hear people in the second villa ( hopefully the same for them!) Beautiful views in all directions , nice shady terrace - recommended!
