"We booked this property to use as a local getaway for the weekend. The house was clean, tidy, and offered all the basic amenities needed for comfort. The highlight of the property was definitely the backyard, where the adults were able to relax under the canopy while the kids played in the pool. The one downside about our trip was that temperatures in Antioch breached 110 degrees Fahrenheit during our stay. While the house is equipped with A/C controlled by a Nest thermostat, the A/C unit...

"2nd time we stayed here. Great house and location. The dock outside the door is a huge draw. Unfortunately, the tides weren't in our favor and could not get the boat in or out for the majority of the day (11a - 4p) for 5 days due to low tide. Boat sat in the mud at the dock for hours."

"We spent a weekend in Discovery Bay, this location was excellent. The house was nice and the kitchen was well equipped.We rented a pontoon boat and explored the delta, the proximity to the fast water is great. I can only imagine that getting to fast water from one of the further spots could take 30 minutes so this location being just a few minutes to the lighthouse was very good. "

"The house was nice but it was not cleaned when we arrived. The master bedroom had no sheets or pillowcases. There was trash everywhere and a used bar of soap in the shower. When we contacted the host they said they were sorry but didn’t offer anything to make our stay better. "

"This property was on a business lot. They sell and rent trailers there. Very noisy. Couldn't even find a key for the place, until the second day. Not a VRBO. We had to wait another hour to check in, because the place was not ready. Needed to be cleaned first. Just wasn't what I expected. The only reason I stayed was because of the location, being close to family."
