A Wonderful Week Away

I can't say enough good things about our visit to Le Canard in Arden, NC! Our hosts were so hospitable, friendly, and helpful, with many suggestions for local places of interest, restaurants, and other activities. The location was ideal-- just a short drive to a variety of restaurants and to grocery stores for necessities, and not too much further to downtown Asheville. Virtually any amenity you might need was provided in the cottage, which, by the way, was absolutely spotless! Would I return to Le Canard? Yes, without hesitation! Many thanks to our hosts for making the visit to Asheville absolutely wonderful!

Family fun

The pictures do not do justice to this wonderful property. The host is amazing as well. Perfect location with lot's of privacy and located in a beautiful neighborhood. Close to great dining, grocery stores and just a short drive to downtown Asheville. Cannot wait to return.

Charming

Charming place with real character located in a great neighborhood that is somehow isolated yet close to everything you need. It is obvious that so much thought and love has gone into the property. Everything you need is here - they treat you like family! Great communication with the host.

French Flair in Quiet Arden Neighborhood

The cottage was cozy- perfect for evenings in reading by the fire. The decor is French country chateau, complete with some decorative antiques. I appreciated the comfy bed and well-stocked kitchen, especially the chef’s stove. The neighborhood is located near many cool restaurants and things to do. Having laundry facilities was a huge plus. Communication with the owner was easy.

Charming cottage, perfect location!

If you love vintage, this is the perfect place to stay! It is centrally located to most anything you would want to do in the Asheville area. The cottage is beautifully decorated in a country French style and the owners include extra amenities such as champagne chilling in the fridge and coffee for the Keurig.

Lovely and cozy cottage!

My husband I stayed here for 2 nights before Christmas. Very cute cottage tucked away in the woods. Quick drive to the Biltmore Estate and downtown Asheville. The beds were a bit creaky and could probably use some newer mattresses, but other than that, the place was super and had everything we needed.

Convenient Location for Weekend School Visit

Excellent location for a weekend visit to Christ School. The house is close to school and very comfortable and clean and well appointed. The owner was very helpful and responded quickly to all of our questions.

Lovely French Inspired Cottage

This cottage was perfect for two couples and it was close to Ashville so we could run in for a nice supper. It was also located near good grocery stores and 12 Bones, my favorite barbeque restaurant in Asheville. The decor was cheery and the kitchen was fully stocked so made cooking a fun experience. I would definitely stay here again and enjoy the quiet surroundings.

Welcoming Country Cottage

My husband and I were very pleased with our clean, comfortable accommodations. We had everything we could possibly need during our five night stay. The owner, Claudia, was responsive from the moment we made our reservation, to our arrival, and upon check out. The twin bed in the sunroom was the perfect reading nook! The location was perfect for us since we have family in Asheville and Hendersonville. We plan to return in the future!

Extended Weekend Getaway

The house was as described in the listing. The Sullivans were great hosts. The bottle of wine and chocolates were a nice welcome to Le Canard. We found the house to be cozy, charming, and very peaceful. We enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit looking at the stars and enjoying the night sounds. We visited Biltmore and the Asheville Art Museum and enjoyed both. The home was located close to all we planned to do. There were a variety of grocery stores within a short distance. We’d definitely stay here again if we were in the area and Le Canard was available.

Great house near Asheville!

Excellent stay! It was very easy to get anywhere we wanted to go around Asheville. Located in a residential neighborhood, with a nicely landscaped private yard. The screen porch was great for chilling outside with our dog. Super clean and nicely decorated as a French cottage. Nice comfortable bed. Well supplied with bath essentials, hair dryer, kitchen items. The Keurig pods and tea bags were appreciated. And the bottle of wine and chocolates were a nice touch! Would definitely stay again!
