Upstairs in a remodelled log cabin in remote area. Clean/comfy bed; good HVAC; full frig; plenty of room (bedroom, kitchen, living room, bath); small shower space; needs more attention to detail as there were some issues (but not deal breakers). Overall, 4 out of 5.

This is our third year staying at Tamarack Homestead, property is wonderful, the hosts are excellent, and my child gets very excited about the prospect of the little treats the hosts leave. This year, I messed up my my reservation date/time and Brady was incredibly helpful and accommodating, despite my error. Looking forward to staying again next May!

Beautiful, super clean, comfortable place. Brady has thought of everything! Watching the sun set over the fields with the wildlife putting on a show was only surpassed by morning coffee on the deck listening and watching the birds begin their day. Stunning beauty. We will be back in the future! It was a short drive to the Trempealeau Wildlife refuge for some biking

A great place for a retreat! Arcadia is 7 minutes away. Walmart is 20ish minutes away in Winona. Bunch of great curvy roads for motorcyclists. Host always gives free candy, popcorn and a nice selection of dvds. Very very cozy. Starting to come here every year now just to hit the roads. Great cafe place in Arcadia called El Dorado. Breakfast is top notch.
