"Lovely place, amazing experience."

"Terrible el calor que hacía en la habitación. En plena ola de calor (35-40 grados centígrados), no tenían aire acondicionado, las ventanas solo se podían abrir una ranura, era comonuna carcel hirviendo. "Pretty standard pub menu - but fresh vegetables well cooked and all at a reasonable price - convenient for the motorway - and good cafe and cheese shop next door"

"The rooms were cosy. A collondar and a pair of kitchen scissors would be helpful. "

"Liked our stay. The fact that HM Queen Elizabeth II stayed a few hours in 1981 gave it a nice twist."

"Definitely a great location, very friendly welcome, great for tranquillity."

"establishment needs updating disabled access poor only one ramp available out in car park otherwise difficult steps to maneuver, very disappointing for a few years ago was excellent. "Due to age of building plus isolation it had some unique qualities but the staff were all lovely and the stay was enjoyable."

"We stayed in the department down the street, apart from the hotel's main building. Its beautifully decorated interiors made us very happy throughout our stay. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning and we had to keep the windows open to keep cool, which led to spiders and noise from the main street coming in. The back garden needs a little bit of love, too. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay!"

"Nice and very comfortable."
