Our second time at the property and we love the house. Many little things (like a quick greeting card), that make for a lovely stay. It was a very hot week and we thought there might be an issue with the A/C, but our hosts were quick to respond even at 11:00pm. Everything turned out great. Highly recommend!

Bingham House was a beautifully decorated and renovated historic home! The beds and linens were so comfortable, front porch so peaceful to sit on each morning, and kitchen well equipped for cooking a yummy breakfast each day. I especially enjoyed walking the neighborhood each morning and checked out the local bookstore and coffee shop! The hosts were easy to communicate with and welcoming. Arrival was easy and smooth. Fun games and books to enjoy are provided as well. Comfy living area, couches and chairs. Thank you for a relaxing weekend as we were here to celebrate a wedding in the area!

This perfect little house in Appomattox is the best! It is less expensive than the hotel in the town. You cannot ask for more than a 3 bedroom house with a wonderful kitchen, bathroom, front porch and snacks on the table. Beyond comfortable. Great TV selections in the living room with wonderful seating for all. Did I mention a washer and dryer! I have stayed in this house at least 4 times over the past few years. Don't hesitate to book this best kept secret in Appomattox.

Very cozy, well decorated home with comfortable beds. Stayed here for 2 nights to go to Appomattox. Enjoyed sitting on front porch and even had live music from nearby park one night.

A serene space

Bingham house is a lovely home with high ceilings and large rooms. My family was comfortable and enjoyed the quiet street and easy walk to the bookstore, park and restaurant. We were in town for a memorial service so having a serene space for each of us was a blessing.

Easter weekend

We came in town to visit family and felt mediately comfortable & welcome here. The house is beery roomy yet cozy We had everything we needed and felt very at home there! We loved being close to the Civil War attractions , and the small-town feel, complete with church bells and the train.
