"The property is a modernized old farm house. I reiterate its an old farm house and it fits the description perfectly.This property is in the country. That being said, that was the appeal for us in choosing this property. Probably 25 mintues to Galena and 40 to Dubuque. The views are spectacular. Its quiet, actually I expected some early farming activity, but other than cattle feeding which was not loud or disruptive there wasn't any on our visit. "Its a beautiful split lever property. Unfortunately one of us was bedroom-bound for 12 hours. But so relaxing. She was able to take a bubble bath & read her book until she felt better, without hindering the rest of us. ...there's another full bath downstairs, she took the upstairs. With the kitchen downstairs the house is well set up to unload your vehicle to the entery to then disburse thru out the home. Had plenty of supplies to get the fireplace going. Very nice!!"
