wonderful house

We had a great stay at the house! its a beautiful construction, very well equipped, nothing missing at all! Even staying with small kids and a baby we had everything we needed, even fresh fruits-vegetables-eggs and a variety of other products waiting for us. The owners were very gentle and warm, we totally recommend it!

We had a very happy 2 weeks at Villa Palleloni. Marianna was so helpful and quickly answered any questions we had. She even arranged for a local garage to come to the villa a repair a slow puncture which was amazing! The villa had everthing we needed and was in easy reach of a wide range of things to do and see.

Das Haus ist zu empfehlen. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene. Die Gastgeberin war sehr bemüht. In den 2Wochen wurde 2mal das Haus geputzt Der Pool wurde ganz oft gereinigt.Also gepflegte Unterkunft Man braucht natürlich ein Auto Wir waren sehr zufrieden kann es nur empfehlen

Pure escapism!

As soon as we arrived at the property we were delighted with what we saw! It is very spacious and well laid out. 3 good sized bedrooms although we only used the double with the most amazing view of the white mountains.We were woken every morning by the local rooster and as soon as we opened the balcony doors the view was breathtaking each and every morning!The pool was the cleanest we’ve ever experienced in a villa.The bbq was great which we used twice.The restaurants locally served the most delicious traditional Greek food we’ve ever had!We absolutely fell in love with this beautiful little corner of Crete and will definitely be back!

Unsere Erwartungen wurden bei weitem übertroffen. Angefangen von einem Willkommenspaket (kalte Getränke im Kühlschrank und kleine Snacks) waren die Eigentümer immer gut zu erreichen und hilfsbereit. Die Villa wurde nach 3 Tagen gereinigt und es gab saubere Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Zum Abschied gab es Olivenöl von den Olivenbäumen der Anlage als Geschenk :-). Wir waren sehr zu frieden. Auch die Ausstattung der Villa war überdurchschnittlich und Alles war sehr gepflegt. Vielen Dank noch einmal für die tolle Zeit!

Sehr gemütliches Haus in ruhiger Lage

Das Haus befindet sich auf einem sehr großen abgeschlossenem Gelände mit 3 weiteren Häusern. Die Häuser sind dann nochmals in einzelne Grundstücke aufgeteilt. Die Anlage befindet sich mehrere 100m über dem Meeresspiegel. Man hat von den Balkonen einen Wahnsinnsausblick über das Tal bis in die Berge. Die Anfahrt dorthin ist über die Serpentinen und kleineren Dörfer beim 1. mal sehr abenteuerlich aber auch super interessant. Zum nächsten größeren Seebad Georgioupoli braucht man mit dem Auto ca.20 min. Dort ist ein toller Strand mit Liegen. Diese waren oft kostenlos, wenn man sich an der Bar ein Getränk gekauft hat. Nach Rethymno und Chania dauert es ca. 40 Minuten. Beides sehr schöne Städte mit viel Geschichte. Das Haus war sehr sehr sauber und super ausgestattet. Bei unserer Ankunft stand für uns frisches Obst, Brot und ein Sekt bereit. Der Pool wurde nach 4 Tagen gereinigt und die kompletten Handtücher einen Tag später gewechselt.( Beides wurde vorher über Whats App angekündigt) Wir hatten 2 Telefonnummern die jederzeit erreichbar sein sollten. Diese haben wir aber überhaupt nicht gebraucht, weil wirklich alles perfekt war. Das Haus ist sehr sehr empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank an Marianna für die Grundlage eines schönen Urlaubes. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt

Beautiful Villa

The location is lovely - close to beaches and towns and a 20 min walk to local village with a couple of great restaurants. The villa has everything we needed including amazing views and it was incredibly peaceful. We wanted to stay longer

Amazing property

We had a beautiful holiday The villa is perfect. Spacious and clean. Restaurants, shops and cafes are a short 5 to 10 mins drive. Beautiful beaches with ample parking are around 25 minutes drive Marianna was so helpful with information of places to visit and local amenities. Highly recommended. There

The villa is very comfortable and has everything you need. We arrived in the middle of the night so locating the keys was a little challenging as there are two ways of getting into the property, but we got there in the end! 😊 Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and its location is good for beaches and local restaurants. Having been to the area before it worked well for us. Missing it already!

Our stay was fantastic lovely villa beautiful view of the white mountains suitable for the children a 1 yr old and a 2 yr old nice pool and easy access to Chania and Rethymno and beaches Kalyves and Almyrida perfect for children as shallow sea Marianna our host was amazing 😍😍😍😍😍sent us lots of information with Google map GPS like so everything easy to find . Traumhaus zum Wohlfühlen

Das Haus ist genau so wie beschrieben - ein Traum. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Der Blick aus dem Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss auf die Berge ist wundervoll. Marianna ist eine sehr gute Gastgeberin, es hat alles funktioniert, sie ist immer erreichbar und erfüllt alle Wünsche. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder.

Idyllic Holiday Location

Just returned from a fabulous 2 weeks stay at Villa Paleloni. Marianna the owners communication before and during the stay was brilliant with lots of information to help us find the villa, restaurants etc in the surrounding area and things to do. The villa was spotlessly clean and very well presented with absolutely everything you needed…..kitchen utensils and amenities the best in any villa that we have stayed in. A lovely enclosed shower downstairs with plenty of hot water. The outside was brilliant with 5 sun beds, 2 umbrellas, a huge pool, loads of room to lay around the pool and sunbath, outside seating area in the shade and a huge fantastic BBQ which we used at least 6 times during our stay. The villa itself is in the perfect location……in the hills overlooking the breathtaking mountains and so peacefully quiet with just the wonderful sound of the sheep’s bells in the distance. When we arrived Marianna had also left a welcome pack of water, 2 packs of Cretan biscuits, olive oil, a bottle of wine and a basket of fruit containing apples, peaches, nectarines and bananas which was a lovely touch. Included in our stay the pool was cleaned at least 4 times and the pool man was lovely. Also the villa was cleaned twice and we even got to meet the lady who cleaned and she was so friendly and polite. If you are looking for a holiday in a place just like home, private, quiet and so relaxing in a beautiful setting then I would definitely recommend Villa Paleloni. Marianna is the perfect host…..leaves you to enjoy your holiday but also there at the end of a mobile should you need help or just ask anything. Thank you for the perfect stay

Relaxing Villa close to beaches

We had a fantastic stay in a very spacious villa in the hills close to Vamos and Kefalas. We stayed for 2 weeks mid August and enjoyed every minute of the relaxing experience. Marianna was a brilliant host, who was easy to contact and always on hand to provide great recommendations for food and places to visit. The villa was everything we hoped for and definitely lived up to expectations. Clean, spacious and well equipped, with air con in all bedrooms and a fantastic private pool (10m long). It was private and secure with only a 20 minute drive to Georgioupolis or Almyrida where there were sandy beaches, restaurants and shops. 5 minutes to local mini markets and tavernas. We could not fault the stay in any way. Car is a must.

Wir können uns den guten Bewertungen nur anschließen- Marianna hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt haben! Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen aber man erreicht mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten alles, was man braucht. Dank der ausführlichen Hinweise von Marianna, war der Besuch der Restaurants und Strände der Umgebung immer ein Erfolg. Vielen Dank für diese wunderbare Zeit.

Kretisches Schmuckstück in einem paradiesisch anmutenden Umfeld :-)

Wer Kreta und seine Menschen kennenlernen möchte wird hier ein Eldorado an Möglichkeiten vorfinden. Die Villa ist ein architektonisches Schmuckstück kretischer Bauweise und versetzt einen in die Atmosphäre von David McNeils Buch " Wind auf Kreta" Der erste Blick aus einem der 3 Schlafzimmer fällt auf den Gebirgszug der Weißen Berge und ist atemberaubend. Eingebettet in eine paradiesisch anmutende Landschaft verbringt man hier seinen Urlaub in biblischer Stille (sofern der Hahn nicht gerade kräht) Die Villa ist mit allem ausgestattet was auch den anspruchsvollen Gast zufrieden stellen dürfte. Marianna legt offensichtlich penibel Wert darauf, dass ihre Gäste zufrieden sind was sich auch in der perfekten Organisation des Housekeepings zeigt. Von uns eine absolute Empfehlung und vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit. Wir werden wiederkommen :-)
