Ni Mar Villas - Beautiful villa with scenic views

A wonderful stay with my family in this beautiful villa with sunrise to sunset views over the Mediterranean coast and nearby mountains. George and Vana are the best hosts they stocked us with wine and food for our arrival and even helped jump start our rental car! They were extremely responsive for any questions during our stay and provided recommendations for the local area. Short drive to nearby restaurants and supermarkets for everything you need during your stay. We loved walking to the nearby cove for a swim in the Mediterranean and visiting beautiful beaches a short drive away. I highly recommend Ni Mar villas for your stay in Crete.

Wonderful Villa & Sunsets

A great Villa worked well for our family 😊. Sunsets were amazing every evening we sat on the many viewing areas to watch. Pool was great for small children also the toys provided were great to keep them occupied. Bbq area was lovely to sit round the table and eat outdoors. Many sun beds and outdoor sun or shaded areas too. Overall a beautiful Villa with amazing sea views.

Stunning view

Lovely, modern villa with stunning view and glorious sunsets. Extremely helpful hosts who responded quickly to any queries. With 9 tall adults it was big enough but tight round the kitchen table and sofas if all sitting together. Great to have the option of double or twin beds in two rooms. Loved the ice machine and the essentials, including wine, provided on our arrival. Thank you Vana and George

Gorgeous holiday villa in Crete

George and Vana were consummate hosts and made us feel very welcome and cared for—which was especially appreciated after a long trip! The house itself is spectacular with everything you need to enjoy life and relax. The house’s poolside (and every balcony’s) sunset views are stunning and a real event to look forward to every day as a family. If you want to explore western Crete or just come to relax, book this house. With 5 bedrooms, with 5.5 bathrooms we were able to be a larger group but also give everyone private space. Great for families or couples travelling together. Thank you George and Vana for introducing us to Crete!

Great location with all the amenities!

We had a wonderful vacation at NiMaR Villas. George & Vana have thought of everything! We spent 17 days exploring Crete from this home. We explored Heraklion, Rethymno, Chania, Georgioupoli & Elafonisi Beach in our rental car(highly recommend). We loved the close small towns of Almyrida & Kalyves! We explored the rocky beach up the road from the villa. We did a boat ride from Chania to Balos & Gramvousa beaches. We loved the olive oil, honey & wine tasting tours near Chania. The villa has beautiful views of the Souda Bay & the White Mountains. We saw the most spectacular sunsets from the top deck & infinity pool! The bedrooms/bathrooms are all very comfortable & beautiful. We have many spectacular photos from the trip of a lifetime! Thank you George & Vana! The Kachejian Family

Gorgeous, functional, clean, comfortable

From the booking process to check-in to the basic foods in the pantry and lovely wine in the fridge, this was a wonderful experience. The house and general design: super design for private bedrooms, bathrooms for everyone, balconies, gorgeous windows that maximize the views of the sea. The pool is fun for playing around and cooling off (with a small area that is shallow, presumably for babies and toddlers -- another great design touch). The kitchen and outside grill area: every utensil and pot and pan that you may need. Nice sized fridge to pack for our large group. There's an ice machine downstairs by the mini kitchen that comes in handy. The grill is charcoal and the table is nice. Bring bug spray. The location has is pretty great -- close to Plaka village with good food, good groceries. Good access to Chania town, Chania beaches (Kalathas was a fave for us), and the highway that gets you to the south of Crete. (Take taxi to Chania town, parking really tough there) You can confidently book a great vacation here! One note on pool: It is not very deep and we had to constantly remind the kids to not dive.

Très belle villa moderne décorée avec beaucoup de goût . Très grand confort , tout est prévu avec grande générosité. Une vue d’exception et chaque soir un moment magique dans la piscine face à la mer pour le couché de soleil . Vana et Georges sont charmants et très disponibles . Une semaine de rêve . Fantastic villa, stunning views, great location

Our family of five (two adults and three teenage daughters) have just returned from a wonderful two-week stay at Nimar Villas and can highly recommend. The villa is beautiful and extremely well designed with every need considered - a real home from home. Vana and George have thought of everything from the welcome food on arrival through to beach towels, adaptors, hairdryers and bath robes. We were a family but I could also see how the layout would work well for two or more families with lots of space and separate areas to chill out. The views are absolutely stunning - and the sunset every evening was breathtaking. Plaka is a few minutes drive away and is a lovely small village with a choice of six traditional tavernas and two others. Our favourite was Harokopos in Plaka square which has excellent traditional food and is very good value but all the places we tried were good. There are two very well stocked supermakets in Plaka itself which was very handy. We visited Almyrida beach which is just a few minutes drive and is lovely and also Kalyves just a little further down the coast which is a bigger beach and just as lovely. All in all a fantastic holiday in a fantastic villa. Thank you!

Dream house does not disappoint!

Our family from Chicago was lucky enough to be one of the first to rent George and Vana's incredible new home in Crete. They are both architects and this was a passion project that they designed together and just recently completed. Every detail of the house was designed beautifully and is furnished with impeccable comfort and style. For example, not only do both the kitchen and lower kitchenette both have coffee makers, they also have two kinds of espresso machines (Nespresso and a fancy custom job). They've really thought of everything. Although the interior of the house was spectacular, that's not why you come to Greece. The outdoor living spaces transport you to the paradise you dreamt of: warm infinity pool with views to die for, outdoor dining table with grill, lounge chairs and umbrellas on every patio and deck. But the most over the top part of our stay was the warmth and hospitality we received from George and Vana. They met us at the home upon our arrival, walked us through how to use everything, gave us tips for the best beaches, and tracked down charging cords and adapters for our devices. We've stayed in dozens of rental homes all over the world, and we've never seen a host stock a kitchen like this. She said she knew our flight was late and our kids might be hungry so the refrigerator and freezer were full of eggs, milk, cheese, cereal, and all kinds of fruit. We were truly overwhelmed by the gesture. If you are considering this place; don't spend another moment on the decision and book it before the word gets out and it is booked. You won't regret it.
