We had such a wonderful time at this property! Before arriving we didn't realise the pool would have a designated section for toddlers and it was brilliant, meaning our two-year-old could splash around safely. Close proximity to the beach, tavernas and shops yet nice and secluded and quiet. Thank you so much.

Fabulous

We had a wonderful time in this confortable and spacious apartment. I have never seen such a comprehensive information pack! The bedrooms were a good size with plenty of space for clothes and lots of hangers too. The beds were very comfy and the aircon kept us cool. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, glasses and utensils. The welcome pack was a nice touch.It was fabulous to have a variety of outdoor seating areas and the pool was just perfect. We appreciated having sunloungers and an umbrella and made very good use of them. The walk to the beach and Almyrida is a pleasant one and takes sbout 10 minutes. Its a great apartment in perfect location. Im sure we'll be back!

Auch beim 3. Mal sehr schön!

Wir waren bereits zum 3. Mal hier und hatten erneut eine wunderbare Zeit als Familie. Lediglich die zeitweisen Probleme mit dem Wasser (betraf das gesamte Dorf Almyrida) waren etwas unangenehm. Das Apartment unter der Ferienwohnung wird von einem Paar mit Hund bewohnt - wir mussten mehrmals darum bitten, hinter dem Hund sauber zu machen, da die Haufen mitten auf der Wiese lagen. Die Ferienwohnung selbst, der Pool und die Lage sind traumhaft schön - wir würden wiedekommen !

Lovely stay!

We had a really good stay in Almyrida. Apartment was big enough for the four of us and well equipped. Pool was nice and quiet and apartment a short walk from the seafront. Good location to go to Chania and beyond in our hire car. Owners always quick to respond to messages too. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!

Traumhaftes Appartement mit Pool

Das gut ausgestattete Appartement entsprach der Beschreibung und lag sehr ruhig und 10 Minuten fussläufig zum Strand und in die kleine Ortschaft. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, den Pool und die vier Balkone für Sonne und Schatten ausgiebig genutzt. Wir können das Appartement empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank an die Vermieter Peter und Nina!

Schon zum zweiten Mal hier gewesen

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal hier und haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Nähe zum Meer und der fantastische Pool sind einfach toll.

Ferienwohnung, leider ohne fließendes Wasser und unsauber

Leider war die Wohnung ohne fließendes Wasser. Angeblich kann das auf Kreta mal passieren. Komischerweise war überall fließendes Wasser, nur in den Wohnkomplex nicht. Weiterhin war die Wohnung, insbesondere die Küche, Kühlschrank, Töpfe, Besteck etc. nicht sauber. Reis klebte noch am Löffel, das Besteck war teilweise dreckig, Töpfe waren nicht gespült, die Kühlschranktür hat von außen sehr geklebt. Es wird Geld für die Endreinigung verlangt und leider aber nicht zufriedenstellend durchgeführt. Da müsste der Vermieter/Eigentümer sich mal drum kümmern, dass das Personal das tut, wofür sie bezahlt werden. Positiv ist zu vermerken, dass wir nach 3 Tagen eine mehr als zufriedenstellende Unterkunft gefunden haben. Der Kontakt zum Eigentümer war gut. Die Einigung zur Rückabwicklung des Mitvertrages war zufriedenstellend.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Sehr schönes Appartment für 3 Erwachsene

Hätte nicht der leere Schlüsselkasten den Eintritt ins Apparment in der Nacht um 1 Std. verzögert, wären 4 Sterne überall vergeben worden. Der Wasserausfall über 4 Tage traf halb Anyrida und die Vermieter gab sein Bestes uns dabei zu helfen - zeitnah und sehr freundlich! Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Urlaub.

Quiet and perfectly situated

A short walk from the beach,tavernas, shops and all facilities. A beautiful view of the olive tree covered hills at the front on the apartment. We'll equipped kitchen and everything spotless.Comfy beds and sofas. For us the pool and garden was fantastic. Undoubtedly the best in the village and that includes the hotels. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will certainly return. Thank you Peter and Nina our stay in Almyrida was perfect.

Flat Almyrida

Everything was as advertised, plenty of equipment in the large kitchen made any food prep a breeze. Loads of towels and a great pool, though forget the telly couldn't get it to work at all but not a problem because there's plenty to occupy your time in the really lovely village just a 5 min stroll away. In the village are many great bars and restaurants often so cheap that it's cheaper than buying food from the only real supermarket which has good stock but a little pricey I thought. Then where isn't pricey now. Communication with Peter the host was good and he couldn't have been more helpful,. All in all a great fortnight and I would thoroughly recommend, I'm certainly thinking of breaking my own rule and going back next year instead of somewhere different.

Emplacement idéal mais prestations moyennes

L'atout de cette location est sans conteste sa localisation. Depuis la résidence vous pouvez accédé à tout à pieds. Les magasins, les restaurants, les bar, la plage, les activités tout est accessible à pied. La résidence en elle même est composée de 8 appartements. Certains sont habités à l'année mais la plus part ne sont occupé qu'en période de vacances. L'appartement n° 7 est situé à l'étage, entre deux autres qui étaient inoccupés. Par rapport à ce qui est annoncé dans l'annonce, l'appartement est assez petit mais suffisant pour y séjourner à 4 personnes maximum si vous voulez être à l'aise. Le propriétaire étant anglais, certaines choses ne sont pas présente contrairement à ce qui pourrait être écrit ou communiqué. Pas de grille-pain, de cafetière électrique (percolateur), tout juste une cafetière italienne à mettre sur la plaque électrique mais dans un état tellement lamentable et malpropre que nous n'avons pas pu l'utiliser. Les accessoires de cuisine sont présent mais juste le strict minimum et pas toujours dans un état très propre. Nous avons essayé d'ouvrir chacun des 2 canapés présent, mais sans y parvenir. Impossible de les ouvrir complètement, donc inutilisable comme couchages. L'état général du mobilier est correct mais sans plus et un bon coup de rafraichissement s'impose. Une équipe de nettoyage passe une fois par semaine, mais lors de leur 1er passage ils ont oublié de changer les serviette de toilettes et nous sommes restés sans pendant une semaine. Conclusion, nous ne reprendrions pas cette location si nous devrions revenir dans la même localité.

Ruhige Lage und saubere Unterkunft

Die Wohnung ist sehr klein aber sauber. Ruhige Lage, wenn man sich an die schreienden Zikaden gewöhnt hat. Die Vermieter kümmern sich sofort, sollte mal was sein. Toller Pool und eigene Liegen plus Schirm. Es waren auch extra Brot, Kaffee, Milch etc. eingekauft worden. Angenehmer Aufenthalt für den Preis.

A very comfortable and convenient apartment

The apartment was clean, with an excellent range of cooking equipment and a good shower with plenty of hot water. Beds were comfortable with nice bedding and there was lots of wardrobe space. We enjoyed the choice of balconies, although the back ones had a limited view and the downstairs apartment have used their back garden as a dump for unwanted items. Also some of the outside seats were damaged and one actually collapsed when sat on. The pool area was pleasant and generally quiet. There is an easy walk into the village centre, where there is a big choice of eateries, a selection of supermarkets and two good bakeries. We didn't use the local beach as it is quite narrow and always looked rather busy. There's a larger and quieter beach opposite the big supermarket on the outskirts of Kalives a short drive away. The apartment owner was helpful and prompt to reply to queries. We enjoyed our stay and were very sorry to leave.

Great little apartment, good location.

Just big enough for the 4 of us (2 teenagers) the apartment was well equipped and clean. The pool and gardens were lovely. Nice views of mountains and hills. The complex was small and our own entrance gave us privacy. Short walk to shops and tavernas. Cleaners came after a week and were very friendly. Would recommend a car as lots to see nearby.

Terrific property in a lovely & friendly town with a fine selection of accessible rest'ts/ Supermkts

The property's situated nicely off what counts as Almyrida's main stretch with the beach, shops & restaurants less than a 5 minute walk away. Great little walks to villages in the nearby foothills are also directly accessible from the apartment with the pool providing a refreshing solution to cool down afterwards. The local beach is perfectly sedate and a small selection of water sport equipment was available. Most of the restaurants offer service on the beach with Costanita offering the pick of the bunch. Cafe Francoise for breakfast and Maki's for dinner are also worth mentioning. Both car rental agencies offered competitive rates so much so that we took on a 3-day rental that we hadn't budgeted for which allowed us to see much of Crete in it's magnificent glory. Falanassi, Elefanoussi and Rethminon are worth the time. We'll definitely be returning!

Brilliant accomadation

As a family of 6 it was very accommodating very clean and pool was a massive advantage. The position was excellent a short walk to beach and local shops, we found the pear tree shop sold very fresh food at a good price and the restaurant especially costanita on seafront was excellent but just check your bill as there was always extra added on. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even the night we locked ourselves a spare key was with us within the hour due to prompt reply from owners. Chania is such worth a visit and the speedboat trip which you can book on seafront was excellent but not for the motion sickness people if a little choppie out at sea. We will definitely be renting this property again
