Quiet and Quaint

We enjoyed feeling like we were in the country! The trees around the property were pretty. The roosters across the pond were a fun fascination for our pup! Would stay here again!

Condos Family Christmas

What an AMAZING WOODEN SHOE TREASURE TO SPEND CHRISTMAS WITH FAMILY! This is an ideal place to have a family reunion. They even had a toy closet for the kids. The teens enjoyed the pond and roasting marshmallows on the fire pit.

Rustic and Cozy!

The feel of being in the mountains without the road trip. Located off of the main road but easily accessible to any of the places we wanted to go, shop and eat. The cabin itself was lovely! My grands were happy little campers and so excited with all of the fish that they caught in the pond. Struggled with the stove/oven but eventually got the hang of it. This was truly one of our best Thanksgiving's ever!

Our FAVORITE home away from home

The Wooden Shoe is perfectly set in woods but close to everything. We've been coming to this house for a solid 10 years & it's consistently perfect. The owners are responsive & kind. Do yourself a favor, book this home!

Fantastic Cabin

We stayed at the cabin while our boys were playing at the USA Baseball facility. It was a short drive to the fields. The cabin is well equipped with everything we needed. If in Cary again, we will definitely stay here!

Perfect getaway

It was my son and his best friend and my girl best girlfriend. It was a weekend to get away and play games. Have a little fire is and eat some Brunswick stew. The house was perfect reminded us of a place we used to stay when the kids were little was clean everything was there that we needed to make food and enjoy each other’s company and stay here again

Rustic yet modern

Definitely Will Return

We traveled to Cary / Apex to watch the Division 2 college world series, knowing we would have lots of time between games. Hotels just don’t cut it! The house was fantastic. Kids and spouse spent hours fishing in the pond. Reading spaces on the porch or swing. Comfy beds . Just about anything you would need to prepare a meal. We didn’t hit up restaurants at all. Enjoyed every second of this charming place. Loved the western theme, too. Perfect!

Relaxing Weekend

4 ole friends from college met for long weekend. We spent a lot of time on the front porch listening to and watching area wildlife as we caught up. Evenings dining in and sitting in front of the fireplace. Awesome cabin, highly recommend!
