We recently stayed at MRT Suites Lara, but unfortunately our experience was quite disappointing.
The main issue was cleanliness. The room was not properly cleaned, and overall hygiene standards were not maintained. The kitchen was missing basic essentials, and no proper toiletries were provided. We had to go out and buy things like toilet tissue ourselves, which is not what you expect when staying at a hotel.
The pool was also very dirty, so we couldn’t use it at all, which was very disappointing as it is one of the main facilities.
When we arrived, the room we had selected wasn’t even ready, which caused inconvenience right from the start. The jacuzzi in the room was another major issue — when we tried to use it, dirty water came out, which was completely unacceptable.
The shower area had visible mold, and there was no fresh smell or fragrance in the room — instead, there was an unpleasant odor throughout.
Overall, the hotel really needs to improve its cleaning, maintenance, and basic guest facilities. Guests should not have to worry about such basic things during their stay.
