I stayed at The Forest on a solo holiday and just got back home. I loved everything about this place: it was out of the way and so there wasn't the noise that comes with staying in a town, it was small and intimate, it was beautifully landscaped, the service was top notch and the owners were so attentive. I came as my last holiday before hip replacement surgery this summer and because my walking is compromised, Marco very kindly drove me to and from the beach for a day so I could enjoy the ocean (it's only a 5 minute walk down the hill for those who aren't mobility challenged!) Oh, and the food and drinks were 5-star. I know you're not supposed to order a drink that isn't tropical while holidaying in the tropics, but when I nevertheless ordered an old fashioned, Marco made his first one for me and it was excellent. The room I stayed in was luxurious and beautifully decorated and the area around the pool was comfortable and restful. Pool was just the right size and depth, and very refreshing; I could still stand in the deep end. Daily breakfast was generous and very tasty, lunch was equally delicious (Wed-Sun) and dinner is served Fridays and Saturdays. The staff were all lovely and kind. 5/5 I would certainly return. Thank you all!
