“This listing was exactly as pictured, and Marcus was a very responsive and friendly host. He allowed us to drop our bags early and went above and beyond with recommendations and accommodations to make our stay enjoyable. The home is well set up for cooking and offers easy access to town. We also loved Claudia’s in-home meal just down the street—it was a highlight of our trip and something we would have never discovered without Marcus’s recommendation. It truly felt like a local experience and was the perfect way to spend the second half of our trip in Saint Lucia.”

Excellent host, always willing to help. House was clean will good amenities. He himself helped secure a rental car which was delivered at home. Once we were stuck in Jannette point (off road). I called him, he mentioned to put the car on all wheel drive and also said he is on his way to help. By doing what he said i was able to drive the car uphill and met him walking towards us almost at end of the road. He was patient and always helpful with a smiling face. We loved the stay. Marcus also help arrange for local food. Adeline coffee shop is opposite to the villa and offers good food. We loved the stay. Thanks Marcus

Staying at Bocean was a real treat! My wife and I booked a stay for a portion of our honeymoon. We arrived on late Sunday afternoon, and our host Marcus went out of his way to book us a dinner at the Art Cafe across the street even though it was closed for the day. (We also went back for breakfast the next day!) Marcus is a great host and responded very quickly to any questions we had, plus he provided a lot of quality recommendations for places to go nearby. We also rented a car through Marcus which was a seamless experience.The property is the perfect amount of secluded with amazing views, and a great place to unwind after days of adventuring on the island.

Bocean Villa

This is a great find, especially if you want to explore the island for yourself and not stay at a resort. The owner was very quick to respond to any issues and even got us a dinner reservation for the evening we landed. I would definitely stay here again!!

Very unique.

This location, although a bit removed that required transportation, which the owner arranged a car and driver, worked out very well. It has beautiful landscape,views of the ocean,beautiful yard house ocean

Paradise within Paradise

A perfect hillside retreat. We enjoyed eight days of peaceful sunrises and sunsets , while watching boats move up and down the coasts. House has everything we needed for perfect stay. The pool was great after a day of hiking or swimming. Easy walk to Adeline’s Cafe and Claudia’s kitchen - both wonderful places to eat nearby. Location is great for seeing north and south - east drive. Marcus is a very responsive host and was able to look at car noise on the holiday to make sure we were in good shape.

Paradise

we totally enjoyed our time at this house. Marcus made us feel welcome at his house which was spacious and well equipped. We also rented a car through his company which included getting picked up and dropped off at the airport (well worth it if you have not driven here before)! we drove to beaches to the north and south of the property and had lunch at the resorts. Marcus also arranged a private boat ride and a bamboo raft trip for us. The people of St. Lucia were friendly and welcoming and depend on tourism for a large part of their income. we would recommend this property to anyone who would like to get away from the crowds and learn more about the people and their beautiful island.

Great view, great people

Marcus was great with being able to get most of the things we asked for. The groundskeeper was sooo accommodating. Everyone was quite nice and helpful. Know there is a bar next door and not a family having a celebration party on Sunday night!

Beautiful Honeymoon Stay

Wonderful stay just north of Canaries. Great property with everything we needed and convenient to all kinds of fun activities on the west side of the island. I didn't rent a car with Marcus but based on the way his employees helped me out when my rental had a flat, I would highly recommend it. Great views from both balconies and from the pool/patio as well. Highly recommend.

The Villa was a perfect location for us to explore the north and southern parts of the west side of the island. It was not near the resorts and cruise ship crowds. The Villa had all the essentials needed for us or a larger group of people. The place was very clean and well kept. Marcos has a car rental company that made pickup and drop off super easy. He arranged for Uric to show us around the first day of our stay. This gave us an introduction to driving habits of the island. Uric did a great job of pointing out sights to see and how to get to the sights we wanted to visit later during our stay. Noah, our car rental contact, was an added bonus for a trip to the airport and was excellent in checking the car out to us and returning it. He was through and professional. Marcus's company, 'Island Rentals' is a small fantastic team of people who insured our visit was superb.

Winter break

Villa is in central location for exploring island. You will need a car rental if you stay here. Nice house with great view. Owner has a car rental business which we used with no problems. As other reviews say, roads are very rough and narrow and extremely curvy. Just driving is an experience. Road signage is also not very good around the island, but people are very friendly and helpful.

Fabulous villa

The villa was fabulous and had a lovely outlook. Marcus was very responsive when we had little issues. The only critism would be that there was no sun shade available by the pool and no outdoor table and chairs to eat at but overall it was fabulous

This property is a wonderful option for a quiet stay away from home. Marcus, the host, was very helpful and met our requests without hesitation. The grounds are well kept and the building is comfortable. Overall superb value for your money and this property can be rated as a must-stay.

Nice house with private swimming pool

We enjoyed out stay at Bocean Villa. The private terrasse and swimming pool were a great asset to us. The house is in a quiet area and well located as every main attraction is about a 30-minute drive away. Just know that the owner Marcus has a small office in the basement of the house. So there are days when you are not totally alone on the property. The employees were very discreet and we had no issues with their presence but I wish I had known this right from the start.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful stay. Marcus was the best. We rented a car from him. He also has an employee Noah that drove us to dinner in town one night as I wanted a few drinks and did not want to drive at night... we even treated him to dinner and he was super appreciated and told us about life in St. Lucia and how it was to grow up and what their customs were.. The house was huge and had everything we needed. Adelines cafe across the street had a great breakfast. Be sure to order prior day. Lots to do in St. Lucia. I suggest Orlandos for dinner one night. Do not worry that there is only a washer.... there is a drying rack and because of the breeze and warmth clothes dry within a hour or 2. Beds were comfortable. Marcus was a great host and had lots of insights to the island.

Great House for Family Trip

Our family of four plus an Aunt and Uncle spent a great week at this property. It has two bedrooms with large beds for couples and one bedroom with two singles perfect for a brother/sister. It is clean and well kept. The booking and check in process were easy. Marcus was very responsive and helpful. The location is great as it is sort of in the middle of activities on the island but closer to the Southern beaches and resorts which you can visit and utilize their beach amenities with a day pass. Driving is stressful due to curves and potholes but we embraced it as part of the adventure. Ended up being a great part of the trip. You can also have a driving service pick you up and deliver you back. All know where the Villa is. The water is solar heated and we had a good bit of cloud coverage so several lukewarm showers but again consider it as part of the experience. Did not bother us at all. One of the highlights of this home is Adeline’s Cafe across the road from the house. She makes a great breakfast and the best cakes and juices on the island. Will cook you dinner with a day’s notice. So friendly and welcoming. One thing to consider is to bring or ask for some wash clothes and to bring your own beach towels. We highly recommend the house and hope to stay again

Fantastic St. Lucia family vacation

We stayed at this archeturally creative villa for 8 nights with our 3 kids, aged 11,13 and 16 years old. There was lots of space for our family to spread out. The infinity pool was a great addition to this property and was well used The villa has a fantastic ocean view and a beautiful, landscaped yard. The location was central for us to go to the many beaches, snorkeling, hiking and restaurants around Soufriere ( 20 min) or up North to Castries area (45 min). Marcus was a great host, not only arranging a rental car to meet us at the airport and be picked up at 6am from the ferry, but also responded quickly to any requests made. The only thing to note is that the villa is a little more outdated than shown in the listing. It is missing the outdoor loungers and the outdoor furniture is old and broken. Also the couch is more dated and worn and different from the one in the pictures. We loved our stay at this villa and the people of St. Lucia were so welcoming and friendly. We recommend this listing!

Fantastic views

We truly enjoyed our stay at Bocean villa! Marcus our host was great and the car rental available with the villa was extremely convenient. Directly across from the villa was a lovely Art Cafe called Adeline's and she prepared the best breakfast and dinner we had while on the island. Spacious home with incredible view

The home is incredibly spacious with three large bedrooms, plenty of closet space, a great kitchen table and work desk, laundry and our personal favorite was the infinity pool. Marcus was extremely helpful and responsive as we settled in to the home and the island. Also especially enjoyed renting our car from Marcus, it made exploring the island very easy and low hassle.

Happy St Lucia

It was a very nice property at a fair price. You have to have a rental car and navigation to find your way to the sites, but the property owner is the rental company manager so it works smoothly. This is a rain forest island so bring mosquito spray along with sunscreen.
