Sophisticated Charmer with Parking & Views of the USNA Chapel Dome

  • Hello and Welcome to Annapolis! You are going to love this home.

    IMPORTANT: if you are inquiring about USNA Commissioning week please send us a message request. USNA Commissioning current base rates are $12,000 for a 7-night minimum stay.

    We purchased this home January 2010 and lived here for 6 happy years with our 3 boys. We are fully licensed as a short term rental home by the City of Annapolis. Located in the heart of the Historic District, and steps away from the US Naval Academy and the Maryland State Capital, our home was built in 1890, and renovated in the 1920s, 1990s, and again in 2010!

    The Navy Marine Corps football stadium is 1 mile away, and a pleasant walk on a nice day (and much faster than driving through the game day traffic!). Popular wedding destinations (William Paca House, Annapolis Yacht Club) are a short stroll from the front door, and an easy walk to Main Street and the City Dock with all its restaurants, shops, and tour boats make this the perfect in-town location.

    We've decorated and furnished the home with a nod to the historic character of the architecture. There are built-ins, hidden compartments, detailed moldings, a double staircase, a sun porch looking onto King George Street and a fully stocked "Cook's kitchen." The formal dining room is adjacent to the kitchen and features an antique dining table from the 1920's. Though not entirely "historic" the house does also include wireless internet, basic cable, a DVD player, and a large flat screen TV.

    Upstairs, the Master suite was designed with a more modern feel and features a large bathroom (which was featured in Annapolis Home Magazine) and second floor sun porch overlooking the back yard with views towards State Circle. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has a pair of twin beds with a view of the Navy Chapel dome! There is also another another recently renovated full bathroom on the 2nd floor.

    We have 2 off-street parking spots and a beautifully landscaped backyard with a patio and grill, shady trees and plenty of room for a backyard get together. An additional 2 parking spaces may be reserved by request (seasonal fees may apply).

    Mature groups only. This is not a party house. Ideal for families, Navy parents, history buffs, and parents of the bride or groom. We look forward to speaking with you!

We absolutely loved our stay in Annapolis! What a perfect home and location. Walking distance to everything and just a stone's throw to the Naval Academy. Beautifully appointed, room for our family of four, a gorgeous area to relax outside - the whole experience was wonderful. I would definitely prioritize staying here again. Thank you to our wonderful hosts.

This is a fantastic property! It is within very easy walking distance to downtown Annapolis and the driveway parking spaces are almost unheard of in the historic area. The house was neat and clean. Plenty of towels were provided. Kitchen was reasonably stocked and the a/c worked like a dream on a very hot and humid weekend. The host was super responsive to several requests we had. All in all a very enjoyable stay!

Perfect house for our first trip to Annapolis! House is beautiful from the front porch to the wonderful spacious backyard! When we weren't out and about in town, we were either in the backyard or on the front porch! The bedrooms were perfect for our crew and even our teenagers commented how comfortable the beds were! The house is perfect location to main street and to walk everywhere! Having parking at the house was a great bonus!!! Definitely will be back!

FANTATSIC! This was the fourth time we stayed at this home. It's location and proximity to the downtown area restaurants and to the yacht club make it an ideal place for us while we are sailboat racing in Annapolis. The parking on site is a huge asset as well. I love hearing the Naval Academy clock tower chiming....so rich in history! We will be back next year!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and well maintained, easy to get to, and a terrific location with easy walking distance to a ton of shops. Host was great. We'd definitely stay here again.

Fantastic family stay here over the Thanksgiving holiday. Charm and location of this property hard to beat. Special treat sitting in the sun room and listening to the bells of the naval chapel just yards away!

This property was delightful and just right for our needs (my son's naval 20-year retirement ceremony). It's very close to downtown (10 min walk) and the Naval Academy (5 min walk). Parking was a real plus. We especially loved sitting in the front sunporch with an afternoon glass of wine and the back patio area as a gathering place for a few other family who came over one evening. I only marked it down because the house is old (one bedroom doorknob kept falling off) and the refrigerator broke while we were there - though the owners were right on it and got a repairman right away. I also left something there and the owner said she'd mail it to me. Very nice to work with.

This was one of the best VRBO homes we have ever stayed in!! The home itself was so cute and charming with so much character! I travel with a lot of staples b/c you never know what we may need but they had absolutely everything!! We stayed there for our son and new DILs wedding and it was so perfect, they took their “first look” pics in the backyard! There were several quiet spaces to “get away’ w/in the house. Kitchen was fully equipped, everything was so clean, beds were comfy, master suite was amazing and very spacious, parking was very convenient (2 spaces in driveway) but we had no probs finding street parking. Convenient walk to everything! Kristjana (owner) was very responsive to any and all questions. Laundry was available, though we did not use. Would highly recommend this lovely home!

Having stayed in many VRBO homes throughout the years this is by far one of the most well appointed. This home is exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming. The host thought of everything to make our experience enjoyable and complete. Fabulous location close to the Naval Academy and Main Street. The host was wonderful to work with and very responsive. Highly recommend!

Less than 5-minute walk to Town or the US Naval Academy. The home was perfect for our stay! We had friends in the area who drove and had a place to park. The home had plenty of space to relax! Great stay!

This house is incredibly well-situated for a stay in Annapolis. Five-minute walk to the Naval Academy and downtown. Beautiful interior and backyard. Kitchen is very well equipped. Ample parking on-site. Hosts were very accommodating with every request we made.

Loved the location and parking. We were in town to work the sail show. It was very convenient to walk back and forth during the day. We loved having a place to stay. The beds were comfortable. Only gave four stars because the living furniture was not very comfortable to sit on and some of the kitchen equipment was very well used or missing. We plan on coming back again next year for the shows.

Annapolis Gem

Great walking access to Naval Academy, downtown shops and restaurants. Great bedroom configuration, even provided a Pack-n-Play portable crib and high chair for our grandson. Well appointed kitchen if you want to cook. Very responsive owners.

Perfect commissioning home!

We had a wonderful stay during commissioning. The house is charming, warm and cozy yet spacious. Plenty of room in the formal dining area and backyard to host a gathering of 20 family members. The location can’t be beat! Very short distance to the Yard and downtown. Kristjiana was a lovely and accessible host.
