"I traveled from Japan specifically to visit Annandale Distillery and the Annan Museum, and this hotel was an excellent base for exploring the area.
The building has a lot of character and history, but the room and facilities were spotlessly clean and well maintained. I was unsure how to operate the heater in my room, as this type of heating system is uncommon in Japan, but the staff were always happy to help and made me feel welcome.

"Some people were born to host. Maurice & Laureen have created a very special B&B experience for anyone lucky enough to stay. "A great one night stay on my way up to Scotland. Fabulous hospitality and made to feel very welcome. Had a peaceful night's sleep. Janice cooks a mean omelette for breakfast and enjoyed my packed lunch. Lovely estuary walking and lots of nature reserves in the area. Would stay again if in the area."

"The location of the hotel is excellent with great walks along the river. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Some maintenance was needed to windows in our room and the corridor, with external painting needed, however otherwise our room was fine.
All staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient - really good service.

"We stayed for 2 nights and had our dog with us we had a lovely room with doors that opened onto a small patio and garden which was ideal for us.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Food was excellent, nicely presented and tasted lovely.
