We had a girls week with 5 women, who have traveled a lot together but probably had too high of expectations. This house met all our needs but with a few tweaks could gain our return business. Many others had the same complaints of just not enough attention to details. We had a similar experience as others with the annoying door alarms but on our last night the alarm went off in the middle of the night and we could not do anything to get it to stop. With the warning of not tampering we felt helpless. We were about to call for emergency help and found we could remove the battery to get it to stop. We couldn't find any new batteries to replace it so left it out, so we could sleep, and reported it first thing the next morning. Rachael at the rental office was super nice and said they'd get someone out to fix it.
We found, also, that the remotes appeared to have old batteries and wouldn't change channels. We bought new batteries and replaced them but like some of the other supplies, (extra trash bags, etc.) we felt like we were purchasing a lot of extras that the owners could have easily provided and would have made for a more pleasant experience.
The beds were comfortable but there was no extra bedding so sleeping on a sofa was not an option.
So if you rent this place be prepared to bring extra towels, tp, paper towels, batteries, sharp knives, soap for shower, dishes, and laundry.
