Needs deep cleaning

The location is great. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and beach. The pool was very nice. However the house wasn’t very clean. In need of bathroom updates and maintenance. Apparently the house was flooded at one time and it has a musty smell. In need of a deep cleaning and fresh paint job would make a great difference.

Cute House!

This home has the perfect location. Two blocks from the beach, shopping, and restaurants. The house was perfect for our group of 8. It was clean and spacious and had all the amenities that we needed. The only drawback is the sticky kitchen counters. They either need to be replaced or sanded down and refinished. Otherwise, we loved the place.

Just a quick 2 day trip away to the beach before school starts. House was great for the 5 of us. Very clean, great location and management was very helpful.

Cute house but needs quite a bit of updating

The location of this property is absolutely perfect. The pool and outdoor space was well-kept and inviting and it was nice to have the beach towels supplied for us. The kitchen counters were very sticky and we attempted to wipe them down several times with little results. They need new kitchen counters or strip down the wood and refinish it. The kitchen sink is cracking and peeling and was dirty when we arrived. I love the rustic look so I hope that doesn’t change. The back bunk room has a window AC unit which was not working when we arrived. When we tried to get it working we looked inside and it was full of black mol. After 3 requests they came out to look and agreed to order a new unit but was never installed while we were there so the back room was quite uncomfortably warm. Also the light was not working in that back room. In the master king bedroom there was no cover for the fan light. The TV/cable was not working until the day before we had to leave. Apparently lightning struck close to the house and ruined the cable boxes. I do have to say, the gentleman who came out to help fix items was wonderful and very pleasant and tried to accommodate us the best he could. Friendly staff and I’d say a good rental company to work with - it’s just the owners who need to make these updates. I would only stay at this property if they do quite a bit of updating. The price was somewhat reasonable but I feel I should’ve received some money back for having the three girls sleep in a back room that was very uncomfortable from our entire stay as well as the other little things like the TVs not working all week and the kitchen/cleanliness and a couple of cockroaches running by.

The house, neighborhood is prefect but the checking is late and difficult to do it.

We passed a wonderful week, I recommend this place and I hope to visit again in the future.

Nice rooms & GREAT back yard with pool & spa. Not happy with kitchen. Items unorganized & counters "sticky" even after wiping them down. Lots of spoons & forks - but no steak/sharp knives.

Great Location, Needs updating

This property had ample space for our family of 7. The pool area is really the highlight. Otherwise, the house needs a deep cleaning. Lots of dust. The kitchen is very unorganized and needs to be streamlined and updated. The linen service was a plus! The rental price is very reasonable for the great location!

Great location. Could use some updates

Pros: A great location. Close to beach. The pool was nice. Convenient bunk room for kids. Good beach equipment provided. Lots of toys and games for kids in the Flordia room. Cons: The bathrooms really needed to be updated. I had to go buy new shower liners due to them covered with mildew. The kitchen sink is rusted in places and the kitchen counters were sticky. I wiped them several times and they continued to be sticky, possibly a issue with the finish? One bedroom had a broken outlet cover, not a huge deal but we had little fingers with us. The shower stall in the smaller bathroom had a bad smell possibly sulphur/sewer??

Beware - Needs work

Pros: - Great location - Great backyard - Plenty of linens - updated flooring great for a beach house CONS - Please read: - RUST in the sink - Porcelain in sink peeling and rusting - Rust in the pots and pans - Rust on the fixtures in the second bathroom - Sticky countertops throughtout the kitchen that WOULD NOT get clean - 20+ year appliances that worked poorly - Zero updates to bathrooms in 20+ years - dead cockroaches in sunroom and bathrooms - Poor AC wall unit in 3rd bedroom that was very loud - dead palm tree and overgrown lawn in the backyard - broken lounge chair in backyard If you are a family that wants to use the kitchen at all, do not rent this property. The property management company did come out to try to remove the stickiness from the butcher block countertops but they could not remove it. Everywhere you touched on the countertop was sticky. The sink was absolutely unacceptable with rust in and around the sink. I have pictures of all of these items. It was nearly impossible to cook in this kitchen - we grilled and used paper plates. Basically, this house is very old. The owners need to update the kitchen and everything in it. Not because of looks but because everything is rusty or functions poorly. There is a closet with rusted beach chairs in the car port. I'm guessing no one has looked in that closet for years. It scared us even to open it. Beware of this rental company if this is the acceptable standard for their rental properties.

Functional home. Love the quantity of linens/linen service. Quality of pool maintenance service is meticulous-chemicals perfect, debris feared several times during our stay. Couches are very beat-white cloth sofas are not wise for a rental and cushions are sinking into base of couch. Need more transparency on website regarding hot tub vs spa--/charge more and heat it adequately. Get rid of junk behind shed, fix shed door and organize/pare down items in shed-why not convert that to an efficiency?? Kitchen needs more cutlery--knives. are dull, need cheese grater, garlic press, scissors, ice cream scoop, functional can opener, etc. Hot water heater is tiny-ran out during a shower any longer than 5 min. Outside shower knob needs fixing. Would also suggest changing to a much larger washer/dryer with the capacity to run a hot load. Dishwasher broke several days b/f checking out and delay in repair capacity/timing was not acceptable. Could also use a much bigger interior recycling bin/trash can for holidays (when trash pick up is limited and outside cans r full). Rewrite the book of rules in a way that is more welcoming vs a focus on "what not to do." All in all, decent place, just needs attention to detail/TLC from owner without a price increase or future prospectives will find better.

Great getaway

Angelfish is a perfect beach cottage: close to the beach, close to restaurants, close to boutiques. The cottage is open, airy and the pool area is beautiful. It is a very good setup for parents and kids, with the split floor plan and “bunk room”. We loved every minute of our stay, and the propertY management staff were delightfully helpful. You will not be disappointed

Perfect Location

The house was great. Just two blocks from the beach. The pool and hammock were used everyday. Would have liked a little more shade in the backyard, however we found refuge in the sunroom to cool down and play the games that came stocked with the house. It was a great family vacation.

Family Week

Loved the layout of this property -- especially the location of the "bonus" room which gave our (toddler) grandchild's parents a place to take her to play when she awoke each morning before the rest of the family. Hot tub was definitely a bonus, too, but the location was the biggest bonus of all! With easy sleeping accommodations for our fairly large family and easy walking distance to beach, trolley, and shops, we will definitely consider this property for return trips to Anna Maria!

Our annual family November beach trip, first time AMI (usually stay in SK) Perfect location to the beach, trolley, restaurants/shops. The backyard was it’s own heavenly oasis. We even grilled out a few times. It wasn’t an issue because we have a smaller sized family but I could see where it might be a problem for others and worth mentioning as an opportunity to improve-the bedroom with the bunk beds has its own window air conditioner that sounds like a freight train. I am not even exaggerating how loud it was. We just avoided that room.

Great comfortable beach house just a block and a half to the beach! Great pool home with every thing you would need in the kitchen and storage shed! Would come back again❣️

Fantastic experience! Perfect location!

Fantastic experience! Perfect location! We were so excited to have this property close to the beach as well as close to the sweet boutiques for shopping! The house has a beautiful pool a bright cheery atmosphere, open floor plan, and and an enclosed porch with soft couches and a play room for children! This was a great surprise!
