Our family of 6 adults recently spent five nights at Castaway Cove in February and had a wonderful experience. Each couple had their own bedroom, and two couples shared a bathroom. The living area was spacious, making it perfect for us to relax and spend time together. The kitchen had everything we needed (I would recommend bringing some chip clips). We enjoyed the balcony, patio and pool area. The house is located one block from beach access and a short walk to Pine Avenue where there are a variety of shops, cafes, pizza place, donut shop, small general store, outdoor market on Tuesdays and many other stores and restaurants. We would gladly stay at Castaway Cove again and highly recommend it. Guests should be aware that shampoo, conditioner, body wash and tissues are not provided. Great host who responded quickly to questions. It was an added advantage that the only instructions on departure were to remove all consumables and take out all garbage.

The house was in a great location with easy access to the beach. Large living room and kitchen/dining area allowing plenty of space. Kitchen was well equipped. The outdoor kitchen and pool area was nice. A couple of maintenance issues (elevator and grill) were not able to be addressed during our stay but I’m sure that was mainly due to the holiday. Would definitely recommend this house to others and would stay here again if we return to AMI!

We have always stayed at this house and we always have an amazing time. Our kids call it the blue house. I recommend it 100%. Simon and karen are the best. The house is only a block away from the beach. Kitchen is fully equipped. The pool grill area is also spacious and ideal.

Our stay at your beach house was absolutely exceptional, earning a perfect 10/10 rating! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness and accuracy of the listing. The communication from the host was excellent, making the check-in process seamless and stress-free. The location of the house is truly unbeatable. Being just a short walk to the beach and boardwalk allowed us to maximize our time enjoying the sun and sand. The house itself is a fantastic blend of comfort and functionality. The well-stocked kitchen and dining area made meal preparation and enjoyment a breeze. The private in-ground swimming pool was a highlight of our stay, offering a wonderful option for relaxation right at home, and you can't miss the bicycles, the two kayaks, the fishing poles and everything you needed for a beach day. Overall, this beach house provided a fun and memorable vacation experience. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable, well-located, and amenity-rich getaway. We can't wait to return!

Castaway Cove was the perfect for our group of 8! The hosts were easy to communicate with and we felt very welcome in their beautiful home. There was plenty of room for everyone, we had everything we needed, and the location was ideal, with a short walk to the most beautiful beach on the island. We would definitely stay here again!

Anna Maria Island Oasis

Spacious home with pool and everything you could possibly need for a relaxing beach vacation. Kitchen is stocked with utensils, appliances and pots and pans. Refrigerator is new and spacious. Bedrooms are clean with plenty of room to shower and rest after a long day at the beach.The pool is a huge bonus and came in handy on days when the water at the beach was rough.The house is half a block from the beach entrance which is amazing and everything you could need is at the house including a balloon wheeled beach cart! There are also a couple of kayaks and bikes we didn’t use but would be great for a larger family. The owner was always responsive to communication and great to work with!You can’t miss with this awesome find!

Weekend family/friend getaway

Gorgeous House in a great location

The house itself was beautiful - the rooms were airy and spacious, with lovely decorations and very close to the beach. The shower in the master bathroom was incredible! The outdoor kitchen and pool area was very comfortable and inviting, and the kids had a blast in the game room. Inside, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. The cleanliness of the house was outstanding. Unfortunately during our stay, some of the amenities that attracted us to this property were not usable -the washing machine was broken (leaving us no way to wash towels absent spending two hours of our vacation at a laundromat), all but one of the bikes were broken, the pool turned green (which was remedied quickly). I left two messages for the local property manager who never responded. The owner however was very responsive and pleasant to deal with. Overall, this was a wonderful vacation!

Perfect stay

The house was perfect for our family. So close to the beach; beach wagon, umbrella, towels and chairs all provided. Many amenities in the house as well, did not have to worry about running out of soaps, toilet paper etc. Pool was perfect and the patio was so great to sit on after a long day! Highly recommend and would definitely come back

A Home Away from Home

Simon and his family have a beautiful well-kept home and it was perfect for our long wedding weekend because of the location and outdoor entertaining area. We rented this home for our family traveling in for the wedding and hosted our rehearsal here for our wedding party. When I had concerns Simon was very responsive and unfortunately had to rely on others to address them since he is not local which was not always successful (i.e. the broken grill and outdoor fridge used for outdoor entertaining). All and all we had a great time on our favorite island. With the stress of wedding planning and so many wedding guests in town we needed a home away from home to relax and this home was just that! I spent plenty of time in the pool and their balconies. I would recommend this home for your vacation needs and if something comes up the host will do what he can to accommodate you.

Idyllic vacation home for families

We have stayed on Anna Maria yearly for the past 6 years and this house has truly been on of the most family friendly. There was plenty of space for all to sleep. The game room kept everyone in good spirits rain or shine or wind. It was such an easy walk out to the beach. This was the best stocked property I have stayed with tissues. Toiletries, a welcome basket, toys, bikes, beach and pool toys! We had a wonderful time.
