House overall is very nice. Layout is great and the backyard with pool, spa, nice grill and games is terrific. Shortcomings are really around the kitchen, which we used a lot and is fine, but not stocked with great quality equipment. Beds were OK, but again, not great. An issue I’ve had with all rentals on AMI (10 consecutive years) is how cheap owners are regarding things like dishwasher detergent, paper towels, and trash bags of all things. Why only two trash bags for a week? Why not more than two dishwasher pods? Yeesh.

The host was so responsive and very helpful when our door code didn’t work. The house was beautiful and clean, just enough room for the 4 of us. We made great use of the hot tub throughout the week, and having the dock on the canal was such a fun experience! Would definitely return to this property.

Wonderful stay in AMI

I rented this home to celebrate my 50th birthday with family and friends. The outdoor area is the star of this home, for sure. The pool was super warm with plenty of room for everyone. There was a great amount of seating areas for everyone. The house is conveniently located walking distance from the bay, the beach and restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and very peaceful. The home comes with a nice big grill.The only issues we had with the house were the alarm on the door that leads to the pool. It went off every time we opened the door. Management sent out a tech the next day and he fixed it. One of the indoor reclining sofas didn’t recline. Mgmt asked if we’d like someone to come look at it but I declined. One of the lounge chairs outside was ripped and we couldn’t sit on it. Our group cooks a lot and although the kitchen was stocked with kitchen supplies like pots, pans, cups, plates, etc, there were no containers to store our leftovers. You will have to buy everything for the kitchen (salt, pepper, condiments, ice, aluminum foil, etc). I also didn’t like that we were staying for a week and were only given 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 garbage bag, zero laundry detergent, and a tiny bottle of dish soap. I asked the mgmt company to send more and they did.

OUTSTANDING!!!!

Loved the Fancy Flamingo! Everything was just as described and maybe even better. The backyard was amazing with the beautiful pool and hot tub and nicely landscaped. The house was super clean and had everything we needed for our stay, including a nice binder with all of the AMI tips tricks and house instructions. It was our first time renting a house and on AMI and by the end of our stay it felt like home. THANK YOU!!!

Great pool

The house is in a great location and the pictures online are accurate. The back patio and pool were awesome and we spent days hanging at the pool instead of the beach. Our only reason for not giving the house 5 stars was it could have been a little cleaner. The window blinds had dust all over them and the ceiling fans had dust stuck to the fan blades. So the house needed a deep clean but the rooms overall were clean. The management was responsive and overall we had a great trip!!

Family Vacation

This house looks exactly like the pictures which is rare these days. Very clean and the pool is amazing! 1 minute golf cart ride to beach access. Highly recommend!!

First time staying on AMI. House was perfect & clean in a very nice quiet location. Family really enjoyed the pool as well as easy access to all the AMI has to offer. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart as cars can have difficulty finding parking spaces.

Wonderful

We loved the fancy flamingo! The house is beautiful and clean, the pool is gorgeous, and the house is just a few blocks from fun restaurants and the beach. The owners were easy to work with and responsive. We were six adults, escaping our kids for a weekend of relaxation and fun and we achieved that and more. Thanks for sharing this special place with us.

Modern and cozy house. Absolutely amazing pool and whirlpool. Perfect location... just a few minutes from the beach and some of the best restaurants on AMI. I can clearly recommend this property!

Fancy Flamingo Perfect Paradise

Fancy Flamingo was in a quiet area on a cul-du-sac and near the end of a canal. When you walk in the front door, the view through the updated kitchen/living/dining room across the covered patio/pool/hot tub and onto the canal dock was gorgeous!!! The house was furnished with comfortable reclining leather couches, modern bar stools and dining table and chairs. The pool area was huge with a large hot tub and lots of quality furniture in outdoor sitting areas. The 2 master suites were quality and comfortable. The trundle/daybed added sleeping space for children in the 3rd queen bedroom. We were very pleased with Fancy Flamingo, and will return in the future.

A Great Week

Would give this property 5 stars had the hot tub heated. It took 3 days out of our 7 day stay to get it working. (Given no discount) The pool was great as well as the house. Would stay there again. Quiet neighborhood and great outdoor seating spaces. We had fun playing corn hole. Be prepared to buy spices, cooking oil, and all basic items. Nothing in pantry or small sample shampoos provided for renters. That would also make it a 5 star place. All in all it was a great vacation rental in which I recommend. I’d rate it 4+++ stars.

Excellent vacation!!

Our week at the Little Mermaid was phenomenal! The home was extremely clean, well equipped and extremely comfortable! The management company was there for any question we had during our stay. My only complaint was that the week flew by way to quickly. I almost shed a tear leaving the house. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!

Truly Great Experience

This property was just as described and more. I thought the pics looked great when booking but the interior of the house is even nicer in person. The two king suites were perfect for our group! The pool and hot tub area was perfect! We spent the majority of our week long vacation hanging out at the pool because it was so nice. It was a couple of blocks to walk to get to the ocean and the beach was flawless there as well. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. Management was super easy to deal with. Couldn't have asked for a better place for our Anna Maria Island stay!
