The property was in excellent condition. The furniture and appliances were all like new. The location was great! It is very close to the beach. We rented a golf cart and it was less than a 5 minute cart ride. Nicole was excellent with communicating with us prior to the stay. You won’t go wrong renting A Wave From It All!

Great location

The property was well appointed and comfortable for our week on AMI. Check-in was easy, and we received multiple communications about arrival instructions, property's rules/policies, and checkout procedures. The best part, for us, was how close the home was to the beach. It made it easy for us to go back and forth a few times a day. The property is also situated near restaurants and shops. The only downside was construction happening across the street, which was quite loud a few of the days we were there - and it would have been nice to get a heads up about it, especially when we rented the house for its outdoor/pool space.

Beautiful House

This house was clean, well laid out and very comfortable. The backyard area with the couches and large TV was the perfect place to unwind. I’ve stayed in a few VRBO houses and this one was the most well stocked. Everything you needed in the kitchen was available and in good condition. There is nothing negative that I can say about this house or the process of reserving. I would highly recommend.

Simply perfect.

Great property with everything you need to head to the beach! Close to everything Anna Maria....very walkable area. Get out and about early in your trip to learn where everything is on the north end of the island so you can enjoy the cute little spots during your stay...quaint breakfast/coffee cafes, unique gift shops, etc. You don't need to worry with going elsewhere on the island, the best beaches are on the north end hands down. I wish this property had been right on the water, but that is hard to find on AMI. The walk to the beach is just enough to knock the sand off of your feet! Highly recommend. Sleeps 8 easily and could sleep 10 comfortably as the non-king bedroom has a queen bed and a bunk bed with a full on the bottom and twin on the top and a murphy bed on the bottom. Had I known this, I would have asked my sisters to join us! The back yard area with the perfect small pool and outdoor entertaining area makes this place! Hosts are very responsive to concerns/questions.

Mostly great

Overall a nice stay in a great location. Even though the house is small, it still felt spacious. Decent backyard and pool. Rental company promptly responded to our requests. Negatives would be the beds. The king in one of the rooms was unsleepable it was so old and broken in, which left my husband sleeping on the couch and me on the spare mattress from the bunk beds that I just put on the floor. Other mattresses have definitely seen better days. Getting some new mattresses seems necessary.

Just what we needed

Our party of 6 and an infant, including 80 year old parents, enjoyed our stay at this nicely furnished and decorated beach house. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed. Two of the showers were step in which was great for older guests. Note that one bathroom is not en-suite for the 3rd bedroom and is also the laundry room and the exit to the pool. It worked fine for us. A back gate from the property provided a quick walk to The AMI Community Center. Ginny & Jane E's is very close as well as the Pine Ave area. The home had ample parking.

Great location and home!

My husband, 1 year old son and my in-laws had a wonderful stay at this home. We wanted to be on the north end and this was a great location! We were able to walk to the beach, the bay or town in just about 10 minutes or less each. It was very helpful that two of the bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms for our situation. The little back yard was perfect - the pool was so refreshing, we spent each afternoon out there. And the lounge and dining areas outside were nice for eating dinner or hanging out at the house. The kitchen is beautiful and functional. We were pleased to see that there is a new longer table in the dining area with many chairs vs the smaller table with only a few stools in the photos. It was perfect for our group of five and then some room. We would absolutely stay again or at one of the other "Once Upon a Beach" properties!
