Wedding trip

While the check in process was efficient and detailed - it was a lot for me traveling alone. But again - it was very detailed with pics and the homeOffice was able to help me. Also the property mgr at the location ended up being very kind to me - made good suggestions, helped me. Kitchen was great! Very well stocked. I cook a lot instead of just going out. Very convenient location.

Great location if you are visiting the University. Walking distance to so many restaurants and shops. The onsite parking garage and in unit laundry were added convenience. The apartment looks just like the pictures. Beds are comfortable and living area is spacious. Kitchen had all we needed. Great instructions and communication by the property manager. Highly recommend!

overnight girls trip

The apt was in an excellent location. It was comfortable and clean. Coffe was provided. We thought perhaps there should have been powdered creamer provided. The ice cube trays were only partially full. There were no tissues in the bathroom.The television was confusing to use and we couldnt really watch anything with out logging into one of ouf own services. Some instructions msy have been helpful.Othercthan those things everything was fine.

Perfect location in downtown AnnArbor. You could walk to everything ! The apartment was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The ONLY negative were the baseboards in the one bathroom, they really need to be replaced. I would highly recommend The Mitten House. I would definitely return.

Great stay to visit Ann Arbor. Unit was clean, comfortable and had thoughtful provisions. White noise machine was helpful with night club noise. Check in instructions with pictures were appreciated.

Great spot in Ann Arbor!

Great property, clean, and everything you could need for a home away from home. City noise and lights are something to be aware of, but that’s just par for the course being so close to amazing bars, restaurants, and shopping. Highly recommend, and will definitely be back.

Exceptional property in the heart of Ann Arbor

We had an incredible stay apartment was beyond expectation, which is unusual, but very much the case. All the little details had been thought out and prepared for to make our life easier. Beautiful place beautiful view exceptional amenities very safe comfortable, as well as aesthetically pleasing.

Perfect spot in Ann Arbor

We had a fabulous stay. The accommodations were perfect for 2 couples. We loved the roof top deck and party area with pool table. The location was great. So easy to get to town, the campus and the stadium. The communication from the manager of the location was extremely responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Just Perfect!

This apartment was perfect for what we needed. It was clean and accommodating. It was a quiet and secure place. The decormade us feel at home. We honestly wished we could've stayed longer. THE BEDS - were very comfortable! The process of locating the keybox was easy, given the pictures. But after that, locating the correct elevator was a bit more challenging. Overall, just perfect experience & place!

Almost perfect.

Only downside was the check in process, no email prior to arrival with box code to get keys and parking pass and no door code. Counter to that was swift communication to get everything ironed out. Aside from that blip the property is perfect, great location and fully equipped. Having a parking pass included is a game changer. This property is our go to in Ann Arbor.

Great location for walking around downtown and walkable to Kerrytown and campus. Parking reliable. Roomy with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. Washer and dryer is great for long stay. Kitchen stocked with pots, pans, toaster, dishes, flatware. I was even able to make some soup! and amenities

Wonderful apartment in a great location

Lovely and clean apartment in a lively location just steps away from great restaurants and very close to central campus. The apartment was spacious and well stocked. Check in was easy and parking was free for guests in the ramp directly adjacent to the apartment building. Would definitely stay here again!

Prepare to be Nickel and Dimed

The communication with Mitten was the only bright spot. They are very quick to respond and did a good job of answering questions. One question was if we could get early check in. We could, but be warned that they will charge you if you want to get in earlier than 4pm. Is what it is, but this is the kind of stuff you get from a management company instead of an individual owner. Also note that check out is 10am. It doesn't take 6 hours to clean an apartment, but those are their rules. Rough when we had paid a crazy price for two nights that they couldn't just let us in a bit early when the apartment was sitting empty. The apartment is across from the Blind Pig and other bars/nightlife. The room with the window is loud until about 4am on weekends. We ended up downloading a white noise app and playing it all night to drown out the loud music. The interior bedroom is quieter, but its a cave with just a small "window" near the ceiling that faces the kitchen. The cleaners left items in both the washer and dryer. The second bedroom doesn't have a blanket cover, they just use a top and bottom sheet to try to cover the blanket. Kind gross since you can assume the blanket doesn't get washed after every guest like the sheets do and you are essentially sleeping on an uncovered blanket. The description listed in the summary and in the space was really misleading in terms of "fully stocked kitchen." They have soap, cups, silverware, and a coffee machine but that's where the practical items end. Most VRBO's we've stayed in that talk about how stocked they are would have salt and pepper or something. And if you have a coffee machine, a simple bag of sugar and some cheap creamers would really help. Not something we'd expect but when you tell customers the place is fully stocked, then you should stock it with some bare essentials. In summary, we expected more for what we paid. The place is sparse and has that feel of cutting corners everywhere to hit the bottom line. Feels as cold as an Ann Arbor winter.
