Villa Desiderio is located in Angri, in a quiet and well-connected area in the heart of Campania: a convenient base for visiting Pompeii, Mount Vesuvius, Naples, Salerno and the Amalfi Coast without staying in the busiest tourist areas. By car, you can reach Pompeii in about 10 minutes, Mount Vesuvius in 25-30 minutes, Salerno in 20 minutes, Naples in 30 minutes, and Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast in about 35-45 minutes, depending on the destination and traffic. The port of Salerno is also nearby, about 15-20 minutes away, with seasonal ferry connections to Amalfi, Positano and Capri. Nearby you will find cafes, pastry shops, local restaurants, supermarkets and useful services. Public transport is available, but a car is recommended to move around more freely.

THE VILLA

Il Mosaico is located on the ground floor of Villa Desiderio, a restored 19th-century residence with the authentic charm of historic Campanian homes. Its name comes from the ancient decorative mosaic preserved in the double bedroom, one of the most distinctive features of the accommodation. The rooms follow the original layout of the villa: they are separate from one another and connected through the main shared entrance hall, a layout that gives character to the home and allows guests traveling together to enjoy more separated, organized and comfortable spaces. Being on the ground floor, arrival is simple even with luggage, and access to the villa’s outdoor spaces is immediate.

BEDROOMS

Il Mosaico welcomes up to 6 guests and is designed for families, couples of friends and small groups. The double bedroom is the most charming room in the home: bright and intimate, with an ancient mosaic, marble fireplace and wooden furnishings. Its private bathroom is for exclusive use and is located just outside the room, only a few steps away. The second bedroom is a family room and offers a comfortable and flexible solution: one double bed and two single beds arranged in two communicating sleeping areas, separated by a room divider. It is ideal for parents with children, teenagers or friends who want to share the space while keeping a pleasant visual separation. This room has its own private internal bathroom.

KITCHEN AND BATHROOMS

The kitchen is independent, bright and separate from the bedrooms, equipped with a stovetop, oven, dishes and utensils: perfect for starting the day slowly, preparing a simple dinner or enjoying more freedom during a family stay. The two private bathrooms make the home comfortable even when traveling with several people: one is inside the family room, while the other is reserved for the double bedroom and is located just outside the room. Both are equipped with a shower, sink, mirror, hairdryer, towels and courtesy set.

COMFORT AND OUTDOOR SPACES

During your stay you will have fast Wi-Fi up to 1 Gigabit, air conditioning in the main rooms, self check-in through a smart video intercom and free parking. Self check-in through a smart video intercom makes arrival simple and flexible: before your stay, you will receive instructions to enter independently, without waiting. Guests traveling by car can use the free parking, available both in front of the villa and inside the property.

During your stay, you can also enjoy the villa’s shared spaces: the garden, the panoramic terrace on the top floor, the barbecue area and the washing machine in the garden.
