Property description is not entirely what it seems as whole chalet is a bit miss leading, the rooms are part of a large building and spacious, clean rooms. The home is on three levels with steep staircases, which were not at all a problem for us, but would not be ideal for everyone. Still, I highly recommend it. Arundel is a charming town. "We were late booking accommodation for Goodwood so didn’t have many options without needing to remortgage the house. We choose Marine Court for price and location. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived as it’s actually a firefighters charity who rent their rooms out of a weekend, and is used for firefighters rehab during the week. The room we had was big, modern and spotlessly clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful and reception was manned 24/7. There is no bar at the weekend...

"The cottage is very spacious, comfortable and well equipped with relaxing views over the pond and backdrop of birdsong. Although next door to the main house it feels very private, we were made welcome by the owners but then left to enjoy the week. The walking was excellent, so many footpaths and routes to choose from and straight from the door. It is a very pretty area. Within half hour drive we visited Petworth, Parham, Arundel Museum and did a dusk safari at Knepp. We would definitely return."
