We had the BEST time again! We came here 5 years ago and the home is even better than the last time . Everything was clean, the house was well stocked with anything we needed, especially appreciated the large pots and pans to make cooking for our group of 18 easier. More than enough towels and linens. The toys, puzzles, family games, and pool table made sure we didn’t need to leave to have fun.We loved waking up to deer in the backyard. Hope to be back again.

The house is wonderful! It’s large, spacious, and very well equipped — it had everything we needed and even more. The host was very kind and helpful, always responding quickly to our questions. It is the best house we’ve rented in Angel Fire, and we go there every year.

This home is amazing! The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a great meal. There is so much open space that we are able to comfortably relax. The hot tub is well maintained and a great temperature. The kids room downstairs has so many beds and toys for the kids to play with. The pool table is also a great amenity. This is our 2nd time and it was just as great as the 1st visit. Katherine is a great host!

Great stay for a family of 18 with folks ranging from grandparents to grand infants. The house has everything with a kitchen ready to cook in and host, the availability of a washer, dryer and washing detergent, it made it easy for us to do laundry after being up in the mountains. The hot tub is a an amazing bonus to have.

Our family holiday vacation at Modern Cabin was outstanding. We had zero complaints and were blown away by the amenities and conveniences. Starting with the basics, the place was perfectly clean, the beds were comfortable, the host was very responsive, and everything worked as advertised. On to what was special about the place… the kitchen was built for a group that likes to cook. I’ve never cooked in a kitchen with 5-6 other people at the same time and not felt crowded or that someone was using a tool or appliance I needed. We cooked big meals every day and all cooks had everything they needed to deliver. Our host had a Christmas tree with lights set up when we got there (we brought some of our own decorations). The fireplace added the perfect holiday ambiance in the living room. The deck offered plenty of space, the golf course (not in use in the winter) was right out the back door door for easy access for walking off a big holiday meal. The hot tub was clean and big enough for a group. The kids had plenty of room to sleep and play and entertain themselves in the playroom which came with books, games, toys and stuffies. The place had everything we could have asked for and more. We’ll definitely consider returning in the future!

Perfect spring break getaway!!

Luxurious rental! We had 14 people total, 3 different families and we all loved it. Spacious, clean, awesome appliances, well stocked & with a hot tub & fire pit. Katherine was very responsive and helpful with any questions. Will stay here again if it’s available!!

Great Framly get away

We had 4 families of four enjoying all the modern comforts in this beautiful mountain home. Everything worked great and they had all the extras you could want. Fully stocked amazing kitchen made cooking a time time for all. Fantastic hot tub.

Simply Amazing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in AF at this amazing home! Every year we spend our family ski trip in AF and have stayed at multiple properties...this has been the best! The home is gorgeous and they provide everything you can think of to make this your home away from home. Our host was very attentive and quick to reply to communication. We 100% recommend this home and are already wanting to book it for next year!

We loved our time at the modern cabin!! There were 3 different families on our trip and there was more than enough room for everyone. The bunk room was such a hit for the kids and upstairs there were so many games to choose from. When you stay at this house - you feel right at home! Would stay here over and over!

20th Anniversary

The house is even more beautiful than the pictures! It has everything you could possibly need and probably more than you think. We had 9 adults and two kids and everyone was comfortable. We used the deck and fire pit quite a bit which was great!! We had groceries for a week so the two refrigerators was a plus! Katherine was easy to communicate with also so overall, this was truly a great experience. If we have a large group next year this is where we will stay. Brad

Family ski trip

The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. Between playing in the snow in the back yard, the toys provided in the kid area, the pool table, the selection of games/board games, and the great selection of dvds to watch, our kids ranging in age 5 to 15 stayed busy the entire time and I wish we had planned some more down time just to hangout at the house. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, appliances, and anything needed to cook and serve a meal. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Epic Family Trip...Modern Cabin was perfect!

We had the perfect trip in this beautiful custom home in Angel Fire. Fabulous furnishings, a kitchen to die for, fire pit for family stories & laughter and an enormous hot tub to soak away a day of skiiing! Host was helpful and provided great communication. We will be back!

This house has everything

We had a large family gathering/ski vacation, there were 22 of us, 6 parents, 7 cousins + 7 friends, a 5 year old and a 2 year old and there was more than enough room for all of us. The house is beautiful and comfortable, a dream kitchen, with 6 burner gas range with griddle, 3 ovens, microwave, all the staples such as tin foil, ziplock bags, spices, flour, oil, sugar, every kind of utensil, pan, pot, dish, small appliance you could ever need. Tons of toys, games, play station, movies, with theater seats, pool table, hot tub, fire pit, air up mattress, play pen, sleds, shovels, fire wood, two laundry rooms, with detergent, dryer sheets, and spot remover, 2 dish washers (huge bonus with this many people) pods for them, dish soap, all kinds of cleaners, I had to message the host of the property about the TV setting and she got back with me instantly. Unlike some places that want you to make the beds when you get there and strip the beds and start laundry etc. before check out, this property only asked 2 things... don't leave dirty dishes and take all your trash! Super simple! There was just nothing we needed with 20+ people that was not available in this house. There is a lot more to this house than I am not going to take time to list, but these are the main things that made our stay so pleasant. 20 unanimous opinions that this house was a fabulous choice!💯

Great location for a big group

The property was fabulous and was able to accommodate our large family. The scenery was exceptional and the ease of access to the property made it a great vacation spot. We cooked-in most of the time and the large kitchen and great room allowed us to spend quality time and make great memories.

Everything you Need and Want

This is a beautiful, spacious home that is well stocked and has every appliance and amenity that you could dream of. We enjoyed the modern decor, deck, outdoor grill, fire pit with dood, and hot tub. There are even toys and board games.
