The view from the cabin is amazing. We enjoyed seeing elk almost every morning and evening right outside the cabin. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied. I would like to have found the cabin cleaner than it was, but I am very picky. There were spider webs behind some doors and on a cabinet door above the stove. The carpet is getting a little dirty and the kitchen floor felt sticky if walking with bare feet. We rewashed most of the dishes before using them. There were dead flies on window ledges. My adult daughter washed the fan above her bed because it was very fuzzy with dust and she has dust allergies. I pulled out the blankets from under the tv to use on the couch but these were dusty. Just a little more attention to cleaning detail and this would be very cozy. We also had difficulty getting up the driveway on arrival. The gravel at the bottom is not packed so we had to make 3 attempts, the last of which involved backing up a distance and making a run for it. The driveway has a significant rut in it from it washing out but we could avoid that. I think once we weren’t as loaded down and we knew to set the car in “snow” drive, as well as making a run for it at the beginning, we were able to get up the drive without a problem in the future. Paving the full drive would help a lot. Otherwise, I can see why some say 4 wheel drive would be best. Games have missing parts, which was disappointing. All in all this was a nice stay with a beautiful view.
