"Life has been confusing and chaotic for me lately. Work, personal, and family.... I needed to get away for a weekend and this house was exactly what I needed. The location is absolutely beautiful, and quiet. The river, listening to it, watching it and going in it was just the reset I wanted. Close to restaurants, stores, etc. The house was clean. Harris the owner was wonderful! Already looking to see when we can go back!"

"Beautiful cabin. Located about 50' from a pond. Geese and deer constantly coming around the property. Clean cabin. The owners were also checking on us once we got there to see if everything was ok. It rained the whole weekend which was perfect for me. Hearing the raindrops off the lake and trees. We really enjoyed this getaway. "

"Our family had a very nice stay at Lake Haven. We saw deer every single day, plus squirrels, birds, raccoons, mink, and turtles. We loved sitting on the lakeside "deck" (it's not quite a dock as it does not extend over the water like most docks do). "We loved this place. We wanted calm and easy and that's what we got. The place was comfortable, roomy and quiet. We brought out dogs and they felt right at home as well. Our 6 year old loved his room and he slept like a champ! The hosts communicated easily and were easy to reach. The Bushkill Falls were fantastic and we're already planning to return next year!"

"The exterior of the house could use a little attention, but the inside is clean and reasonably well stocked/furnished. The deck is probably the best part, and the host recently replaced most of the deck boards, so that’s nice. Lots of wildlife passes through at all times of day. The host was pretty quick to answer any questions we had, and generously allowed us to check in a few hours early since we were traveling from a distance. Overall a great weekend!!!!"

"Absolutely gorgeous property, with one of the best yards any of us have ever seen. Close to town, hiking trails, and highways, but felt private and so peaceful. We were a group of writing friends using a long weekend as a mini retreat to get some work done, and had a wonderful stay. We hope to return as soon as life lets us! "
