This fully accessible house is the perfect home base for your trip to Andalusia. With 4 cozy bedrooms including a king, queen, bunk, and twin beds, this amazing property offers a host of opportunities to gather with family and friends to make memories. You'll find all the essentials like AC, heating, WiFi, and washer/dryer to make your stay comfortable. In terms of accessibility, there is a Bruno Vertical Platform Lift to get to the main level, threshold ramps at both access doors, a zero-entry roll-in shower, electric hospital bed, hoyer lift, lift chair and fully reclining shower chair. The 2 bathrooms are equipped with a shower, bidet, and hair dryer for your comfort. Outdoors is also super accessible with smooth concrete under the house and a total covered entertainment area including Cantina bar, TV/Audio wall, game tables, charcoal grill, kids chalk table, and extra wide sidewalks to the Lakeside Pavilion. Included in your stay are access to 5 kayaks, 1 extra long canoe and two pedal boats, plus basic fishing poles and gear. With all beds occupied, there is room for 13, but don't count out the two twin cots and the queen sofa bed in the den! The wrap around deck upstairs is perfect for coffee in the morning, bird-watching, quiet reflection or a big family meal at the accessible picnic table. Finally, there is the covered Lakeside Pavilion, with a fire pit area, an 8 ft accessible picnic table and other seating that can be moved to fit your group - complete power and lights, too! Modified in 2021 to be a safe vacation space for ALS patients and their families, the extreme accessibility also lends itself well to Grands or others who just can't do the stairs due to age or illness. John-boy's Place has hosted over 24 guests with extreme accessibility needs since beginning rentals in March of 2023, but it is just right for ANY large family group and has something for all ages.
