Beautiful home with everything you need. No contact check-in was easy. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We never figured the TV out, but who needed the TV when you had a beautiful view and a fire pit to sit out by in the evening. Only wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Dream HomeThis is absolutely Amazing The entire house is a dream view. Our party of six hiking group all agreed this home was the Perfect Getaway home for our stay in Girdwood. We did not want to leave as everything about this home made us feel Blessed each and every morning waking up to such a spectacular view in such a special home. Amamos a nossa estadia na casa da Marilyn. A casa, por si só, é um sonho. Nova, bem equipada, bem decorada, linda, próxima à floresta, com uma vista incrível da natureza e da paisagem. Dá vontade de se mudar em definitivo. Muitas vezes alugamos um espaço para dormir e tomar banho, mas essa casa te convida a aproveitá-la mais, passar um tempo no deck tomando um vinho/cerveja, ler um livro no conforto da sala, de frente pra janela, curtir a jacuzzi, e por aí vai.Recomendamos 100% o espaço e somos muito gratos pela hospitalidade da Marilyn, que sempre foi muito atenciosa e disponível.

Great spot for Salmon Fishing!

Loved the home. What an incredible kitchen! Well provisioned and sharp knives! Hot tub hit the mark after a day of fishing! Beautiful Girdwood property

The property was a beautiful 3 story home with amazing views of the Turnigan Arm. The house was beautifully decorated and the bedrooms and showers were great. They had a very large hot tub that we enjoyed as well.

Beautiful home with an incredible shower

This is a gorgeous home, and our family loved our two nights here. The master shower is the nicest one I've ever seen, and everyone used it! Great location and the owners were very responsive.

Perfect Alaskan Hideaway

This extensive property is nestled on the mountainside and in a semi-private neighborhood, with a fire pit and hot tub. The home provides more than enough space to spread out, relax and gather with family of all ages. The hosts were very accommodating and available to help however needed during the stay. 10 out of 10 Stars! Would most certainly return and recommend this property to others!

Culinary Paradise Meets Architectural Marvel

Our Alaskan adventure turned luxurious the moment we entered this stunning Girdwood home. The heart of the house is undoubtedly the gourmet kitchen. It's a culinary playground for anyone who loves to cook, and top-of-the-line appliances make every meal an effortless pleasure. Need measuring spoons? There's an entire drawer of those. But the magic extends far beyond the kitchen. This home is a testament to stunning architecture, blending quietly with the Alaskan landscape. It offers outstanding views that feel like a part of the living space. We're already looking forward to a return visit, eager to create more unforgettable memories in this wonderland!

Magnificent View!

This home is absolutely beautiful with the most amazing views! Sitting at the top of the hill, you can see above the trees and thru to the water! The house has everything you need with very comfortable bedding! It is close to the resort and the Double Mushky restaurant close by does not disappoint!! Lots of hiking trails! Just a wonderful peaceful place!

Girdwood AK / Alyeska - what a great place!

I have stayed in a ton of various VRBO's from Tahoe, Palm Springs, San Diego, Newport Beach, Downieville and other out of reach locations but this place was perfect for my 50th Birthday get away with a group of my buddies! Marilyn the property owner was awesome!! Helped me with questions / planning / suggestions before the trip and was just really easy to work with. As for the house..... it was perfect and super clean! Plenty of beds and rooms for everyone to sleep.... Hot tub was hot / clean and they provided simple instructions to keep it that way during our entire stay. Best part of the house is the 3rd floor living space & kitchen which connects to a huge deck with insanely beautiful views of the valley and ridgeline on the other side. VRBO doesn't lie either, great chef's kitchen.... large gas stove top, 2 dishwashers and an enormous island to serve food and drinks from.... Kitchen is also well stocked with sharp knives and a ton of cookware etc. Marilyn also keeps a good amount of cooking necessities in the house such as spices, oils, honey etc.! And don't forget the huge gas grill and smoker.... Long story short.... they have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable! Any directions / instructions are clear and readily available. If anything might go wrong with the property while you are there, I am 100% confident they would be all over it... Looking to plan a winter trip back to Girdwood!
