I had a wonderful stay! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the place was spotless—truly one of the best, if not the best, VRBO I’ve stayed at in Anchorage. It easily compares to (and even surpasses) many hotels in the area. The location was quiet and tucked away, yet still central enough to reach most places quickly. The host was excellent—very responsive, accommodating, and communicative throughout my stay.

It was perfect for my extended stay in Anchorage for work. The place was clean with appliance updates and easy access to walking trails and local spots. The management company was responsive and helped to navigate an issue that came up with me having to extend my stay. I would stay here again.

Great property in a wonderful neighborhood within walking distance of downtown Anchorage. Two bedrooms are great size with good quality. Bathroom is very good. Kitchen is good, albeit tight for more the. One person. The kitchen could use more than 4 plates and other dishes. In addition, the table only has four chairs, but the unit can sleep six with the pull-out couch. Overall, excellent property in a very quiet neighborhood with good parking g and easy access. Highly recommend if you are not doing a ton of cooking.

Awesome place to stay with family

Just a few simple words: super clean, safe and quite neighborhood, walking distance to playground and walking and hiking trail along the shore, easy commute to downtown. Our family had a great time.

Good stay. Suggest Some Minor Improvements

We stayed for 3 nights/4 days for my niece’s graduation at UAA. The place is nice & cozy. We did allot of cooking. But the kitchen was VERY small. 2 ppl in there at once was too crowded so we cooked in shifts. The place was clean. Not spotless. As I was sweeping, I lifted the living room carpet. Found it had not been swept underneath. Then there were some small things like wiping off the soap dispenser in the bathroom. Some dust had collected on it. Also, there were no cleaning supplies. So we purchased our own. I’m not sure if I missed it in the description, but there appeared to be no AC. Also, some of the window blinds were broken. And no screens in the windows. With all the cooking, it got hot. But we didn’t want to leave the windows open for fear of birds flying in. Bedrooms were on the basement level so those rooms stayed cool. But overall, the place was clean. Plenty of towels & extra bedding. We enjoyed our stay. I appreciated the washer/dryer. Great location from stores like Walmart, Walgreens, and Starbucks.

Loved Our Stay!

Please read the description before booking and don’t be like us — caught off guard by the 300 deposit lol. Other than that the stay was amazing! Everything was clean and there was a nice amount of space for everyone. Would absolutely stay again.

A cozy home away from home

The location of this home is great, and the home itself looks just like it does in the pictures! Everything was very clean and outfitted for just about everything you'd need for a stay. We would definitely return when visiting Anchorage.

Comfortable stay

We stayed here only our first night. After traveling all day, it was great to sleep in comfortable beds! It was nice to have a covered carport since it was raining when we got there. The place was clean. It does have 5 steps to go down to get to bedrooms. The rooms are large enough to not be tripping over suitcases. Very close to downtown. We ate at Glacier Brewhouse and thankfully had reservations. We would stay here again.

Great location

The listing was very accurate in describing how close this was to downtown. We could have walked. Even being that close to downtown, we got to see a moose walk right down the street!! Check in was super smooth. Loved how it has 2 King beds to choose from. It is a great size to stay for several days. Having a washer and dryer was extremely helpful as we were on vacation for 2 weeks. The only thing I could suggest was to have more pillow options. They were very soft and so we doubled them up in the pillowcase to get a firmer pillow. It is a place we would definitely consider staying in again if we get to come back to Alaska.
