"The Monastery Estate is a beautifully restored family house in the tiny village of Moni, not far from Sougia and the sea. It's an incredibly peaceful, intimate place with comfortable, quirky, stylish rooms and large patios. The view over to the White Mountains is breathtaking and there is great hiking nearby. We were extremely well looked after by Katerina and Marianne - nothing was too much trouble and they were very helpful with local suggestions. Highly recommended! "

"It was a last minute booking, for only one night. When we arrived we were shown our room, which was beautiful and the view incredible. We had dinner in the tavern across the road. The food was wonderful. It was truly a great stay. A longer stay to experience the surroundings and amenities would have been wonderful, maybe another time."

"I absolutely loved my stay here. The location is beautiful, nestled into the mountains and a short drive to Samaria Gorge and the White Mountains. There is an incredibly sweet local/rural vibe that feels very safe to walk around and see the local goats and sheep. The breakfast and meals here are incredible, some of the best meals I had in Crete. The rooms are basic but very clean."

Beim Frühstück war das Personal freundlich, jedoch ein wenig träge. Schöne Anlage mit allem was man braucht. Auf Allergien wird von vornherein eingegangen. Schöner ruhiger Strandabschnitt."

"Habitación limpia lo único es que son dos caninas individuales y eso es incómodo para dormir, personal muy agradable, desayuno bien, alberca y vista al mar agradable. Chambre propre, le seul inconvénient est qu’il y a deux lits simples, ce qui est inconfortable pour dormir. Le personnel est très agréable, le petit-déjeuner est correct, la piscine et la vue sur la mer sont agréables."
