Needs cleaning!!
Unfortunately, this house did not live up to the standards of a VRBO. This house needs to be cleaned!! There is dirt everywhere. It also had a musty smell when we arrived. I have never been grossed out by the filth. There was hair in the bathroom drawers, dirt on baseboards, floor didn't feel clean, and the kitchen cabinets need to be disinfected as well. I had to wash dishes/cooking tools before I used them. The outside BBQ needs to be cleaned as well. I wonder if they use a professional company to clean. The only rooms in the house decorated cute were the two kids rooms. The rest of the house had no character or decorations. The kitchen is ill equipped. One example is I couldn't find measuring cups or spoons. The air condition thermostat is a nest which can be controlled remotely. Every time we left the house, we would come back and the air conditioning was adjusted to 79 degrees. We cool our home to 75 degrees and we should have been in control of that. It took two hours to cool the house down every day. Plus the second story was a lot hotter. Thankfully they had some fans to use. There is one positive to this home, which is the pool. The kids loved that it was deep so they could jump and dive in. The owner was available with questions throughout our stay and always responded. Bottom line, find another place to stay.

sometime, we had guests who travel with the mind set that if they "complain" they will get refund. I didn't cooperate !

Okay Property/ Great location
Some good, a lot of not so good for the price. The house needs a deep cleaning. We found chips under one of the beds, the faucets weren’t properly cleaned, the walls and doors, dining room chairs were a bit dirty. I have rented several properties through VRBO, older homes, nothing fancy that were way cleaner than this home. Just heads up for guests who worry about cleanliness. Please be aware that if you stay in the winter months there is a fee of $40 per day if you wish to use pool and spa heater. We opted out since it was pretty hot outside. Just know since this is not mentioned in the listing description and won’t know until you book. Beds situation. Our party had three adult couples and we intended to use the room with the twins and bunk beds for one of the families, well that was not possible since neither of the teenage boys nor an adult felt safe in the bunk beds. Unfortunately They had to sleep in the living room couches. The room with the car beds are for toddlers, so think about that if you have toddlers who do not sleep alone. You can’t really sleep an adult or teenager in those beds. The only comfortable bed was the one downstairs (according to my in-laws). The master bed is super noisy and uncomfortable, the pillows are all flat so bring your own! Now the good stuff. The location is perfect if you are traveling to Disney, the pool area is nice (but only used it once since we had plans pretty much every day). The house is super roomy downstairs.

Great for large families
This house was a great place for the bunch of us to congregate and be together. The house is not what the listing states tho, it needs some work and some cleaning. As well as we couldn’t use the pool as it was way too cold, Hot tub worked fine tho so sitting in there after a long day at Disney was nice. The owner was great, and answered any questions we had.

The house was spacious which is what we liked! Very clean! Beds were comfortable as well! My parents had the their own downstairs are which was nice. The pool unfortunately wasn’t working but Catherine did credit us back for that. The game room was fun for the kids too.

Great home near Disney !
Stayed here with my extended family. There were 10 of us and the property was great! Pool and spa heated quickly and everyone had a great time. There was a little confusion with the check in time but we just waited and everything else was great and had everything we needed.

Good location. As previous reviews stated, they should find new cleaning company. The back yard needs a lot of love. The foliage needs trimmed and cleaned up, but overall we enjoyed the pool and the spaciousness of the house.

Disneyland with two families
We had a great stay. This place is well equipped! From a blender for my margs to baby strollers and beach toys. We had great communication with the host who was friendly and accomidating. And seriously 10 minutes to disney and 40 minutes to Huntington beach. We had 5 adults, 4 kid age 5-15. Very comfortable

Spacious home and wonderful pool and hot tub!
Loved this property for our group! The pool was amazing—clean, warm and plenty of towels and floats to make it enjoyable. The hot tub is tiny but we really liked that too. The house is so spacious with a game room and two separate living areas. It was nice having three full baths. House was stocked with everything we needed. House could use a deep clean as others mentioned but that was the only “issue.” Would definitely stay again!

Good location
Location is perfect, close to everything. House was well stocked. Pool was very nice (note there is not much of a shallow end). If you are a clean freak you may want to pass on this one but it was okay for us. The owner was very responsive. Biggest downfall was the air conditioning. First night was ok… but the next 7 nights we couldn’t get it to cool downstairs past 77 and upstairs was too unbearable to sleep in. Owner did come and change the filter and provided a nice stand up fan. The system is in dire need of a servicing/upgrade. Overall happy except for the A/C.

It was in a heat wave when Tory was at our place & AC couldn't handle the 24/7 running, but the issue has been taking care of. Again, we are very sorry.

Great location, fun property
We found the house to be exactly as described in the listing. It was roomy and clean. The pool and game room were a hit with the boys (ages 6, 8 and 9) and provided great entertainment for them when we were not at Disneyland. The drive to Disney was great and easy to manage. Catherine checked in with us upon arrival. We would stay here again!

Perfect place for Family Stay
Our group of 8 stayed 7 days and loved most everything about the house. We used it as a base camp for a week of tourist adventures in and around Anaheim. Nice neighborhood felt safe and secure all the time. Nice big driveway, which is important because there was almost zero chance of parking on the street. In the evenings both sides of the street were parked full. The house feels very big, with room for our young children to play in one of the three common spaces. The beds, linens and pillows were fresh, clean and comfortable. Linens and blankets looked and felt new. The towels were a little worn and there could have been more towels in the house for our uses. The washer and dryer were high capacity, newer and worked excellent. As a family of 8 that swam every day we washed a lot of clothes and towels while were there. The rooms themselves felt a littled dated, but were lavish by our standards, walk in closets, separate baths, dual sinks, 3 showers, 1 highwall tub. We liked it. The downstairs bedroom, bathroom, living room was nice for our parents to get away from the clatter of all the kids and they liked having their own space. The downstairs bathroom tended to get used a lot after pool, just because it was so close and had a huge shower. Others have stated that the house felt a little shabby, dents, nicks in the paint, furniture not perfect, a scratch on the hardwood here and there. To be honest we noticed all of those things, and they made us feel better about bringing out 4 young kids there. It wasn’t what I’d call a luxury rental, it’s a family rental. The kitchen could have used a few more utensils, cups, etc. but we found it adequate for the amount of cooking we chose to do. We easily sat 10 for supper a couple of times with no issues. As others have said the dishwasher is dodgy, and probably should be replaced, but didn’t really matter that much to us. The kitchen has a really nice view of the pool area and is all windows. There is an outdoor patio wetbar/grilling area with nice patio furniture that we never used. Unlike other rentals, this yard is filled with plants and flowers that gave it a nice homey feel. As far as tv’s the master had a big one, as did the downstairs living room, and the playroom a had a mid sized one. Kids watched some movies, and played Wii in the playroom some, but otherwise we didn’t really use them. The master bedroom was very large by our standards and had room for tv, couch, king bed

we were a group of 9 and there were only 4 cups, and 2 of them were kids cups, there was not enough silverware either with only a couple of forks, we had to ask for more towels, and the dishwasher runs for hours and did not dry the dishes, or clean them the place was not clean, it was tidy, but not clean, that was a bit disturbing, especially in covid times. The landlord was very accessible and friendly

A hidden gem
We really enjoyed staying at Catherine’s place. Beautiful, clean and so conveniently located close to Disney!! The house had all the amenities we needed and I really hated to leave. I will also say that they were so easy to get a hold of when getting settled into the home. I will definitely recommend this property and stay there again in the future.

Honest impression with photos
This place has some positive attributes and some negative attributes. It has nice curb appeal, close to freeways and attractions, excellent washer and dryer, above average bath towel quality. There is a park at the end of the street that allowed our 5 year old great granddaughter the opportunity to burn off energy. Although there are homeless living in the park, we felt our surroundings were safe. The residence also provided enough square footage for 4 generations not to be on top of one another. The neighbors at the end of the block were very friendly and helped us in our time of need. It was also nice that you didn’t have to drop a load of laundry before leaving. Unfortunately, the current cleaning crew needs to be terminated immediately. A dropped earring under a bed led to a find of used Kleenex, children’s toys, hair and dust bunnies. The stove top was a never ending fight and since the manager mentions this in their notes, it seems like they clearly know about it and that it is a problem that should have already been addressed. Additionally, it would have been nice if the outdoor grill had received some attention. It was horrible. The residence has many stairs with no safety gates for younger children. Our great granddaughter took a fall, cutting her lip and hurting her arm. There was no first aid kit available. Thank goodness the neighbors down the street were able to help us. The bathroom downstairs is the largest but no hot water in the shower (The sink water was hot). The master bathroom is extremely small and instead of putting the bathtub in the area where the children could use it the most, they put it in the MB with the toilet. we appreciated that the vanities and toilets were raised a little taller than most places we’ve stayed. The media station is rather intimidating but I’m sure a younger generation could maneuver it much better than us. There were spiders, ill fitted drapes, plastic drinking cups, mixed dishes and pots/pans that had seen better days. This residence is dated, no outstanding amenities. It has the potential to be a nice rental if it were cleaned, safety guidelines put into place, more care in making it appear homey rather than so plain you can’t help but notice the problems.

The house was generally pretty nice. It could use a new coat of paint, a deep cleaning and probably an HVAC service/cleaning though. There was tons of dust on furniture and walls especially near heating/cooling vents. Kitchen was decently equipped but the stove top was pretty difficult even with instructions. Remotes should be labeled as to which room they belong in. My mom couldn't get the family room TV to work. There were two cable remotes in that room and neither seemed to work. Come to find out the HDMI cord from the cable box to the TV wasn't plugged in. The game room was a pleasant surprise except the basketball game only had one ball that needs to be inflated, we had to Jimmy rig the slide/ shoot because it wasn't probably connected and the Foosball table wasn't level. We wedged some cardboard under the legs in hopes to have a better game. The pool is deceptively smaller than appeared in the pictures and took a long time to heat. I did like that they provided some pool toys and kick boards. The jacuzzi was nice and heated fairly quickly. Loved that they provided sand toys as we did make it to the beach during our stay. Cars room mattresses need to be replaced. Neither of my kids wanted to stay in there and ended up sharing the "princess" room. The box fans need to be thoroughly cleaned or replaced. The neighborhood was nice and quiet.

We will have this situation once in a while so I will repeat myself ... There had been a new trend from the travelers speculating that reviews and ratings have heavy wages when booking a vacation. It is applicable in this case, she created scenarios and complained about numerous issues which are proven either deceiful or fallacious with a perception of either 100% refund or a bad review. We always routinely check with our guests upon arrival to ensure if we can accommodate their requests. A three-ring binder with manual instruction for pool, TV, Cable, Netflix, Washer and Dryer was located either in the kitchen or family room. Unfortunately, this had happened nowaday, they used unethical tactics assuming that if they complain, they might wind up with a free vacation home rental. We rather not renting our property to this guest in the future. To our potential guests, I would urge if you can glance over my other reviews prior to judging whether or not you should book my property. I would prefer to have a bad review rather than feeding this bad habit. Please don't do this to me we need to do thing right & fair.

This house was perfect for us. It had plenty of space. Everyone enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It could use a few more pool towels. Communication with manager was good. I would definitely stay there again!

Quiet Neighborhood and Nice Pool
We enjoyed our time in this property. It's situated in a very quiet neighborhood and conveniently located close to Disneyland. It could use some decorations or pictures on the walls to help make it a bit more like home. The pool is very neat looking and makes you think you're in a south Pacific island. The "Cars" room would be a great hit with young boys while the girls room has two neat looking beds that look like princess carriages.

Pretty good overall
Overall good experience, the pool was wonderful and the barbecue area. The location was great, so close to Disney. The upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms were great. The downstairs bedroom had a very squeaky bed frame gave us restless nights! I’d suggest they remove the bed frame immediately because being tired is no fun on vacation. The bed mattress was comfortable. The kitchen needs the dishes gone through, lots of chipped coffee mugs and a lack of silverware, no wine glasses. There were plenty of cooking pots and pans. A little disorganized but that’s ok. Last suggestion is better curtains, black out would be nice because they were very light filtering. The bedding and towels were nice. Overall good home that could be great.

House needs attention/cleaning
The pool was definitely the highlight of the home. It was a great size and had plenty of toys for the 3 kids (8,9,10) to play with. We were disappointed with that the hot tube did not have a working waterfall as pictured and was small and difficult to get in and out of. The kitchen was equipped (small appliances) although hot pads and dishtowels were not available. Overall it felt like the cleaning crew was not thorough (floors were not swept or mopped) and the owners had not been to the home for awhile. The pictures were a little outdated as they did not match the current condition of the home.

Best Cali Vaca
This is an older home and had some wear, but it just made us feel more comfortable. We had plenty of room. The pool and hot tub were great. The outside place is small but had everything we needed. The owner is quick to respond with any questions. Good parking in garage and driveway. We were there for a family wedding and were more interested in family time together and this was a perfect place. Large kitchen open to dining, so we were all able to visit and cook together. Very close to everything we wanted to do. Loved it!!

Not a great experience
We were quite disappointed in this property. Many issues (leaking refrigerator, loose kitchen faucet, skewed drawer front, broken lamps, missing drawer pulls, dirty floors, etc.) throughout the stay - we decided to not engage the owner with each one, but its obvious that this is not a well-maintained property. I guess it would be fine if you had 5 kids and a few adults, but other than that, I don't recommend it.

She is not happy because we don't have queen beds in kids' rooms, to begin with (we list all of our bed sizes on our website, please check before booking). She rented our house and turned it into an office for her employees. In addition, she is an extremly picky guest.
