Fabulous Family Fun Times

We loved staying at Georgetown and making long lasting memories with 4 of my grandkids and their parents. This is an ideal setting for fishing, tubing, hiking and ziplining!! And most importantly a family follow-up to the Olympic Games. Hosts are super attentive and the property is outstanding! Will def book again

A little piece of heaven

We loved this place so much! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! Having the lake, practically out your door, was definitely a plus. The teens loved the paddle boat, and water trampoline, and fishing. My husband enjoyed the kiyak, and I enjoy sitting on the beach enjoying the beautiful view. The house was very clean, and the hosts, Cherie and Bina were very sweet, and answered all our questions promptly. We would definitely stay at the little piece of heaven again💕 Having the

Summer vacation cabin

Wonderful family cabin, extremely clean and excellent location! The family that owns the cabin were so welcoming and fun. Everything is as pictured and we had an amazing vacation at this property!

On the lake with a great view

The morning and evening views over the lake were spectacular! The cottage was clean and neat and had everything we needed. It was a great place for some old high school friends to tell tall tales. We caught some nice rainbows from our boat as well.

DIRTY & OVERPRICED

If you are looking for a relaxing lake stay, this is not it. Mouse droppings (old and new), dirty dishes, appliances that don't work, dirty toilets, home smelled like weed, no toilet paper or towels, no garbage bags, moldy shower curtain, neighbor dogs barking incessantly. We actually left early and requested a refund for one day (although refunding the entire stay would have been appropriate). The owner's refused even after acknowledging the issues. This was an incredibly negative experience for our family and ruined our trip. When even your kids think camping outside is way cleaner than staying in a cabin, there is obviously a problem.

Perfect Location

Beautiful place

Lovely cabin right on the lake. We are anglers so being able to sit on the porch and watch the lake for rising trout was wonderful. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The house was great for us, beds quite comfortable, kitchen well stocked. Perfect trip for us!

Teacher get away

I booked Viv’s place as an end of this crazy Covid school year/ 50th birthday celebration retreat. The house was just as described. Very comfortable beds and bedding, beautiful location, plenty of room for everyone. The owners were next door at check in and over the weekend. They were incredibly friendly and helped get me acquainted with the property. During the week, the surrounding houses were vacant. It was like having the whole lake to ourselves. We will be booking again.

Great Location- Good Cabin

This was not a 5 star cabin but rather a 5 star location. It was clean and “as described”. Great owners and great communication. We really had a nice time - location is the best of the best! Recommended !

Four Senior Fly Fishermen

Four fly fishermen in our 70s, having received a favorable recommendation from a peer decided in January to stay at this vacation rental. Because of the coronavirus we checked several times prior to arrival to determine relative risk of visiting in mid-September. The virus proved to be a non issue. Finding and entering the rental went flawless and what we found was exactly as promised. The rental contained everything we needed and its location was beautiful. The only negative was a severe smoke event caused by massive wildfires in CA, OR and WA that spread smoke from well out in the ocean to as far east at Butte. We ended up spending less time on the water and more time enjoying the attributes of the rental than expected. On the evening of our visit I had the pleasure of meeting in person the rental owners. A wonder family group!

Lake house was awesome

We love staying at this property and being so close to the water every morning and evening. Georgetown Lake is beautiful and there is much to do here. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. We loved using the kayaks and exploring around the lake. Thank you!

Family week in August

Very Clean and great access to water with 4 grandkids(ages 10-5). We slept 8 and worked out fine. This place is old but well kept up and had everything we needed. Hosts next door were friendly and helpful. Having kayaks to use a plus.

So Relaxing!

We had never been to the Georgetown Lake area before and now that we have been - we will certainly be back. This place was perfect for our stay. There were 10 of us that stayed for 6 days and it fit us perfectly! The owners of this home are delightful to work with and very accommodating. We had the opportunity to visit with them during our time there and enjoyed our time with them! We love that everything was labeled in the house so everything was easy to find. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone busy when we weren't on the boat. We would defiantly rent again!

I enjoyed my stay here. It’s a clean, simple house with two bedrooms and baths. The front living area is comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. We cooked several meals there and we had everything we needed. Brand new bbq grill was top notch. Great fire pit. Several kayaks and a two person paddle boat. The TV set up was funky. DVD player worked well. The satellite system didn’t work for us but we didn’t care that much. I’m sure had we called Cherie she would have helped us out. I would stay here again without hesitation. And a big bull moose walked right past the picture window which was really cool.

Perfect Place on the Water

We loved Viv's place! The property was gorgeous and we appreciated the access to Georgetown Lake just steps from our front door. The paddle boat and kayaks were fun to use and the neighbors friendly. The home is well stocked for your stay - including laundry detergent/fabric softener and luxurious towels. More than enough room for ten people with the pull out couch and roll away bed. Sunsets bouncing off the Pintlers in the distance was phenomenal. As others have written, the owners have a place steps away next door so if you are bothered by that / prefer privacy you might take heed. Our interaction was very pleasant and they were very helpful when needing more firewood. Nice folks with a beautiful rental - we really enjoyed every moment of our stay!

Comfortable, picturesque, and fun for the whole family and friends.

We had a great stay at Viv's place. The home was comfortable and well appointed for our party of 8 (3 adults, 5 kids.) The resident Moose was a little reticent but we did get a good view of him up on the hill behind the house. Provided watercraft, fishing and jumping off the dock, and campfires with s'mores kept us happy all day. After a full day enjoying the lake we were able to get a movie set up using our netflix on the TV. It was a nice added bonus for tired kids. We've rented at lots of places around Georgetowon Lake and this is now a favorite.

Idyllic, relaxing and very comfortable

We stay at places like this fairly often and I can say this was our favorite. The place is super comfortable with everything you need. The lake is indeed steps away (we have been burned by misleading pictures before) and there are nice kayaks and a paddle boat to get around on. Note the owners have a cabin right next door, they were never there when we were except at check in. They are super super nice but if that bothers you check to see if they will be there or not. There is lots to do in the area, a 20 minute drive to Philipsburg for bbq and ice cream, or lots of hiking and a great biking road around the lake. Also good fishing. There are lots of nice little touches like a fruit bowl which we devoured and are much healthier for it. Highly recommend!
