Lovely Place

The house was well stocked!! It had everything a person could want! The communication with the host was excellent! A very nice place to stay. You could walk to the water and watch low tide and high tide! Just an overall top notch experience!

Once again we had a fantastic stay at this property. The kitchen is well stocked. There is lots of room for everyone. Sitting on the deck in the morning with a coffee listening to the waves and sometimes the seals is a great way to unwind. Going out in the evening and star gazing, we saw stars that we haven't seen in years due to the fact that there wasn't any "city lights' flooding the skys. We will be back again in the spring. Thanks Carolyn for providing such a lovely spot for us to enjoy.

Great Weekend

This is our 5th time staying at this beautiful property. The kitchen is well stocked. The sunsets and sunrises were spectacular. It is a great place to come for a weekend retreat with family and friends. Already planning our ladies weekend for the spring.

What a perfect choice for our week in the Maritimes! Our hosts were wonderful. Communication was excellent. We loved the history of the house/property, and the welcome info/items were much appreciated.The layout of the house was perfect for our extended family of seven, and everything we could want or need was provided.We did a lot of exploring - mostly local, but also the Bay of Fundy and even a day in PEI.The large deck outside was perfect for quiet mornings looking out over the water as well as for a big family gathering for a delicious seafood boil followed by a soccer baseball game on the lawn.Thank you again, Carolyn and Peter, for sharing your home.

Great for a reunion

This is a lovely home with a well equipped kitchen, nice bedrooms, and a deck where you can sit for hours looking at the water, chatting, and listening to the breeze in the trees. Very close to the swimming/walking beach. The dining room and living room provide great venues for long conversations. We had a sibling reunion, and all three of us enjoyed the property.

Fantastic Getaway

This property and the property owner were fantastic!! Beautiful view, quiet area with lots of wildlife right outside the doors. We seen a buck, porcupines, deer, and even a seal! Check in and out were extremely simple and Carolyn was more than accommodating! Would DEFINITELY visit this property again in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

Our entire experience was amazing. Had excellent communication with the owner. Arrived to a very clean, cozy, comfortable home that was ocean front. Perfect setting for my family and celebrating a family wedding. Enjoyed sunsets, full moon, walks on the beach and daily visits from the seals. Thank you Carolyn

Girls weekend

Amazing view - the beach was rocky but nice just needed water shoes. Loved having two full baths and one half. Lots of items are stocked in the house - everything was easy to find. Loved having a dishwasher. Saw some deer; porcupines and seals. We visited the brewery and the Jost winery. Everyone enjoyed their stay and we would definitely go back again.

Spacious beautiful view

The house and setting was perfect for our family/ friend vacation. Plenty of space for all to sleep. The view of the water from the house windows and deck were amazing! Kitchen was stocked with plenty of utensils and equipment. The pool table was a hit with the kids during the rainy days. The walk to the water front from the house was easy and enjoyable seeing the tidal changes. Carolyn was accommodating, friendly and helpful!

Private and peaceful

This place is a little piece of heaven. Very spacious but cozy all at the same time. The house is equipped with everything you would ever need. The property is in a lush, peaceful and private setting overlooking the ocean. Does it get any better than that? Our family group of 7 ladies had a wonderful time, enjoying the quiet surroundings, beach combing and watching the seals out our front window. Carolyn, the host, was wonderful to deal with. Very welcoming and accommodating. Thank you!

Everything you'll ever need!

Great property, Carolyn was excellent to deal with, there is no shortage of items to use at your disposal. Unit is clean and comfortable, a little challenging for someone with limited mobility but I managed, would be perfect with a walk in shower but both of the full bathrooms had tubs. Our only complaint was the weatherman, he didn't seem to understand our request for Sunny weather

Great Place for family and friends to gather

Our group consisted of 8 women (family and friends)ages 49-90 who love to get together for a few days of good food, great laughs and lots of card playing. We couldn't ask for a better place. We loved watching the seals, deer and raccoon family. Some of us even got to see one of the bears. Carolyn is a fabulous host and there is everything you need to set up and feel at home. Thw kitchen is well stocked with everything from a lobster pot to a cork screw. This is our third time staying here and we plan to come back in the spring. Thank you Carolyn for sharing your beautiful home.

After the Hurricane Lee

When we drove up and saw the house it exceeding our expectations. We felt right at home and everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. After just coming from Hubbard where we home bound because the Hurricane Lee it was so nice to look at the window and the water was calm. The road into the house is rough and many pot holes, but it was worth the trip. Canada is taking recycle to another level, but its great when the house was supplied with garbage bin and label. We had a great time at a great house. Thank you!!

Spacious and well equipped vacation home in a lovely private ocean setting

This home had everything we needed for our (group of seven) family ladles weekend. Cozy and spacious common spaces, well equipped kitchen, 2 and 1/2 baths and comfy beds. The house has a lovely outside yard with beautiful flowers and shrubs. Its such a peacful private setting with a view of the ocean right outside your door! With a lovely sandy Beach just two minutes down the road. This is our second year staying at this property. Carolyn, the host, is wonderful. She is always prompt responding to any questions, and very warm, welcoming and accommodating. Thank you, Carolyn, for another amazing and relaxing stay at your beautiful property. Ladies Retreat

Once again we had a lovely stay at this beautiful home. We were a group of 6 ladies this time, most of us over 80. We played several card games, ate tons of food and laughed a lot. We all slept well in the comfortable beds. The kitchen is stocked with all the utensils you need to cook with. The large deck has great furniture. It was beautiful weather for June so we were able to have coffee on the deck every morning. We saw several deer including a newborn. Unfortunately, we did not get to see the mother bear and her cubs this year. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay for a family gathering, this place could be what you are looking for. Carolyn is great to deal with and is quick to respond to any questions. We plan to return this fall. It has become our home away from home.
