We can’t say enough fabulous things. Beyond helpful! Amazing location! Breakfast was amazing with all the homemade pasties made by the daughter and father. Geraldo even ran to the ferry upon us leaving because my husband forgot his medication. I would recommend this location to everyone and we will DEFINITELY be back!

Our room was pristine, breakfast was to die for, and the location is perfect. I can’t say enough how much the hosts made our trip so much easier than anticipated. Not only did they help with transportation from Rome to their property, but they helped us book all of the transportation to our excursions. Even when we were silly and booked a trip out of Sorrento to see Pompeii and hadn’t planned our travel to Sorrento yet. When we told Gerardo about our plans for Pompeii, he helped us call the agency and was able to make it easier for us to meet them AT Pompeii instead of in Sorrento. He also made quite a few calls to ensure that we could get a ride to Pompeii, all without us asking. I felt comfortable reaching out to Gerardo for help, even at a late hour, and he always tried his absolute best to help us, even if the request was silly. Giovanna made sure to arrange us a little car down to the ferry on our way out, and always asked if she could get us anything extra during breakfast. If you are staying on the Amalfi coast, stay here!!!

We had the most magical stay in Amalfi thanks to Gerardo and Giovanna. The location was incredible - we stepped right into the heart of Amalfi Town (but couldn’t hear any noise when inside). Breakfast was delicious every morning (cappuccino, orange cake, ham, buffalo mozzarella, and so much more), the hosts are so sweet, and the rooms are just gorgeous. We can’t wait to come back one day.

I liked everything about the Residenza Amalphia. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The property is located about a ten minute walk from the port. The hosts were very generous in their welcome and throughout the three night stay. My stay here was one of the highlights of my trip to Amalfi.

Family run,home cooking,nothing is too much trouble.Good local knowledge.Gerardo,Joanna and their Dad (still a practicing physician) are assisted by Lily who does the maintenance.Access to the property is easy and is an easy walk from the ferry station and the main square.

Lovely stay

This was a truly lovely place to stay in Amalfi. The hosts, Gerardo and Giovanna, were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. They assisted us with restaurant recommendations and reservations, and were able to guide us to off the beaten path experiences. The room was immaculate and comfortable. Breakfast provided an abundance of delicious food, and there were always snacks available. We feel so fortunate to have secured a room for our five night stay and highly recommend this family run B & B.

Wonderful Accommodation

We have traveled through Europe for the last 10 years – the Residenza Amalphia is a stand-out gem. The property is spotless, beautifully and tastefully appointed in many ways (Veitri sul Mare ceramic tile throughout, leather do not disturb signs!). Owner Gerardo, along with his sister Giovanna and their father, has created a very special accommodation. The breakfast was one of the best ever – the selection included choice of eggs, cheeses, meats, fruits, vegetables, breads, cereals, and the most delicious homemade cakes and biscuits. Gerardo and Giovanna were incredibly helpful, making several recommendations and reservations that enhanced our stay in the area. Just one example of their kind attention: on our day of departure, a car was organized, Giovanna walked with us (and luggage) to the meeting spot at the harbor, Gerardo met us there. They waited with us – in the rain – until the driver got through the traffic, then said goodbye like we were family members. If lucky enough to return to the Amalfi Coast, we will absolutely return to Residenza Amalphia.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Residenza Amalphia. This boutique accommodation in the heart of Amalfi exceeded our expectations in every way. The place is incredibly stylish and spotlessly clean. The owners are the heart of this place. They are warm, welcoming, and always eager to help, offering great recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. A special mention must go to the delicious freshly baked cakes served every morning – they were a highlight! If you're looking for a peaceful, stylish retreat in Amalfi, we highly recommend Residenza Amalphia. We hope to return!

Residenza Amalphia was the most charming B&B I have ever stayed at. The rooms were spacious, super clean and comfortable and the staff was incredible. From the moment we arrived Gregorio greeted us and helped us book dinners and tours. Giovanna and her father made the most incredible homemade breakfast. Highly recommend this family run business. Our stay at Residenza Amalphia was fantastic. It is a family owned business with outstanding customer service. Our travel to Italy wasn't ideal as our flights were rerouted and our luggage was lost. The owners, Gerardo and his sister Giovanna, were extremely helpful and arranged our driver from Naples to Amalfi. They also coordinated our luggage through customs and the delivery of our bags to Amalfi. We cannot thank them enough. Their 4 room bed and breakfast is amazing and is in the heart of Amalfi. It is newly remodeled, clean and quiet. The breakfasts are homemade and delicious. We loved it so much, we extended our stay 2 additional nights. We walked, shopped and ate our way through Amalfi, Positano, Ravello and Capri. We will definitely come back and stay with them again.

I traveled to Amalfi coast in August 2024. This was my first time to Amalfi coast and my friends told me most of the accommodations in the coast are so-so. I agreed after searching for a while and booked a hotel near the duomo. Eventhough I booked my hotel, I kept looking around to see my options and to my surprise, Residenza Amalphia popped up! This is bc this property is brand new. Before I even got here, Gerardo has been sooooo communicative and gracious over direct messages. He was so helpful and welcoming so I felt great about the upcoming stay. Before I arrived, Gerardo asked me about my arrival time. He was at the boat dock waiting for me so he can help me with my luggages. How great is that! It’s like a friend came to pick you up! The property was about 5-10 mins short walk from the dock. Once you get to the property, it felt really quiet and nice. The property is brand new and every detail was looked over. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was so clean. What I really appreciated was the towels were thick and they were very absorbent! It’s like big hotel towels! The linens were pressed and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. The spread was a full spread from breads to fruits. Some of the cakes were baked by Gerardo and Giovanna’s dad himself! He’s such a chef. Gerardo and Giovanna were sooooo nice and kind. They made the best restaurant recommendations. They were also very knowledgeable about the diff towns in the coast.

Great Success

They were thoughtful and kind enough to greet us at the port. There was attention, correct guidance and high-level hospitality. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The location is right in the center of Amalfi. Everything is at your feet. Before I forget, I must also emphasize the variety and taste of the breakfast. Their omelets are of restaurant quality :) Thank you very much for the process that we left happy from beginning to end.
