Pool Disclaimer: Due to the climate of the northeastern U.S., outdoor pools and attached hot tubs will typically only be available for use from Memorial Day to Labor Day. For energy conservation purposes, the pool heater may only be operational from 8am to 6pm.
Off-Season Disclaimer: It is typical that spring cleanings and updates do not take place until late April / early May. If your booking falls outside of Memorial Day to Labor Day, please inquire as to whether or not outdoor furniture and equipment will be available for use prior to booking.
The outdoor furniture has been put away as of October 15.
Payment/Refund Policy: Unless otherwise stated on the property listing, all payments are non-refundable, however, should the guest elect to cancel its reservation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner of the property to reopen the dates of the reservation in attempt to re-book the property (please note the decision to reopen dates is the owners'). Should Marquis be successful in re-booking the property for the original dates at the same or higher price than the original reservation, a refund less a 20% penalty, calculated as 20% on the total reservation amount, will be issued to the guest once payment is collected in full for the new reservation. If a new reservation is not made, the guest may use the property for the dates of its original reservation so long as payments have been made in accordance with the payment schedule established at the time of booking and Marquis is notified in writing 72 hours or more prior to the start of the reservation.
Note: All payments must be made prior to check-in.
VRBO charges the guest directly for their service fee and applicable taxes, while StayMarquis charges separately for the rental rate. As a result, you will see two separate charges at the time of booking-one from VRBO and one from StayMarquis.
If there is a second installment, it will be collected directly by StayMarquis shortly after the first installment.
Payment Method: Balance payments made with credit card are capped at $3,500. Payments over $3,500 shall be made by check, ACH or wire.
Security Deposit Disclaimer: Although rare, accidental damage does happen during a stay. In lieu of a security deposit, guests can rest easy knowing that this property is covered with up to $25,000 of damage protection. Coverage details are provided in the booking agreement.
The guest experience for this property is managed by StayMarquis, a local vacation rental management company. By booking this property, you will receive a dedicated "Guest Experience Manager" who can help facilitate any request, from grocery shopping to organizing a private chef. You will also have access to 24/7 support that can assist with any question that might arise during your stay. It is important to note that any maintenance tasks are performed by the owner of this property.

Great House in a great location
This is the second year in a row that we've stayed at this house. It's perfect for us. We love the pool and the proximity to both the bay and the beach. We look forward to staying there again next year.

Great home in a great location
We loved our stay at this home! We've rented lots of houses in the Hamptons over the years and this one stands out for its great combination of amenities (pool, hot tub, basketball hoop, very well stocked kitchen and outdoor grill) and location - very short distance to Amagansett town and beaches. We also loved how dog friendly it was and the great "dog parent" suggestions. The house is very well maintained. Check-in could not have been easier and the instructions were clear on how to use everything. It made for a great family getaway and we will definitely be back!

Die Unterkunft entspricht in keinster Weise der Qualität und dem Niveau, was die Bilder und die Beschreibung erwarten lassen. Sowohl der Aussenbereich als auch im Inneren des Hauses war bei unserer Ankunft schmutzig und dreckig. Auf der Terrasse flog ein halber Wald an Ästen und Laub herum, Kinderspielzeug über die Terrasse verstreut, schmutzige und fleckige Sitzauflagen. Im Haus stank der Kühlschrank, überall waren Tierhaare verstreut. Wir haben das Haus nach 20min wieder verlassen und mussten uns kurzfristig etwas neues suchen. Die Besitzer meldeten sich wochenlang gar nicht zurück über die Vermittlungsagentur, mittlerweile wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass ja alles in bester Ordnung gewesen sei.

Great Amagansett Home
We really enjoyed our long weekend in Amagansett. I'll start with the issues as there were only a couple that I'd consider very minor. First you must meet someone at the property in person to check in, which was a little difficult to align schedules. The house was a little difficult to find so definitely get directions from the management company. And the bikes were locked up and didn't seem to have air in the tires.
Now for the many positives. The house is very secluded and private. It was exceptionally clean and they had towels laid out for everyone. The patio and pool area were fantastic. There's a beautiful outdoor area with couch and coffee table. Then a full bar, grill and outdoor dining table. The pool was perfectly clean and also a hot tub. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space. The house is located in a pretty convenient spot to get into East Hampton, Amagansett or out to Montauk. The owners left a nice book with suggestions for restaurants and activities in the area. Overall I'd have no issue recommending this home to anyone looking for a stay out East.

Starting off with the positive- the interior of the house was very clean. It’s an ideal house if you are vacationing with a dog, as the fenced in yard gives peace of mind. Renters should know that in addition to the VRBO fees, the owner utilizes a mgmt company to oversee bookings and the fees are passed on to the renter. There was also a separate utility charge applied to our stay.This house is in a very private and secluded area, which is nice, however, it is very difficult to find, especially when traveling at nite!! You cannot use GPS as it just sends you in circles to the wrong house. The mgmt company sent us the worse directions and eventually they had to reach out to the owner to ask for clear directions. We wasted so much time trying to find the house in the dark of the nite and when we finally arrived and got settled in, we realized we had to go back out to buy a wine opener because the house did not provide one. We did not use the pool since it was after the season, but had hoped to sit on the back deck to enjoy the fresh air. The cushions were very dirty, so instead we opted to pack a bag and sit on the beach.

Great stay in Amagansett
Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay for a week and a half. The property is secluded, well maintained, has a fence going all around -- a huge plus for with 2 year old twins -- and had everything we needed. The listing was accurate and the communication with both the representatives and the owner was prompt and efficient.

Great location; well stocked clean house
This house was a great location for us. Remote from the crazy downtown but within walking distance to the beach (20 minutes) or quick bike ride. The house was very clean and well stocked. The outside is relaxing and lovely. The only complaint is that the cushions for the outside furniture could use an update or cleaning. Also the house is hard to find as Cross Highway East does not show up in any GPS system (not Waze or Apple Maps or Google Maps). Stay Marquis should provide directions from the Montauk Highway before arrival to avoid stress.

Family vacation in Amagansett
Great pet friendly property in Amagansett! Best feature of the the house has to be the backyard. Large deck around swimming pool, with built-in grill, pergola. The property is completely gated (included a gated entrance) and in a very quite neighborhood. Easy access to shopping and restaurants in Amagansett and short drive to Montauk. Property being managed by StayMarquis was a plus as they were very responsive and met us at the property upon arrival. Finding the house is challenging as Google map will take you to a wrong location.
