Very nice house with beautiful garden and poo

We were a family of 6 adults and 3 children aged 1-8 years. it is a super nice house and the communication with the landlord was really good. reception and departure worked perfectly. However, we think that the description of the house is a bit misleading. It appears as if there are 5 bedrooms, 4 with a double bed and one with 2 single beds. This is not correct. There are only 4 rooms and the 2 single beds are beds to fold out and with very poor sleeping comfort and not suitable for adults.The landlord should specify this in the description of the house

Wonderful stay!

Very accommodating stay. Plenty of room for 9 of us. Loved sitting by the pool in the evenings and the kids swimming. Loredana was very helpful with all our needs. Absolutely a great place to book!

Perfection!

From the beginning of booking to the last day, Isabella was in constant communication. She arranged for car transfers from Rome to Altopascio and many other requests. In addition her assistant Lory met us at the house and had beautiful table set with cheeses, ham, fruit and wine. Lory was always available to help with any requests. We were celebrating my sister’s and my birthdays and Lory arranged and brought a massage therapist to the house for us. They also accommodated a chef to come over and cook a meal for us in the kitchen. The house is very authentic Italian and it’s been updated with all the modern conveniences. Extremely clean and pleasantly decorated. We lacked for nothing and they gave us great attention. The house is about a 5 minute walk to the train station and we were able to go to Florence, Lucca and other cities from the location. The grounds and the pool were also beautiful. Extremely generous with details to make us feel at home. Would come back in the future!

This is a perfect base location for trips to Pisa, Lucca, Cinque Terre and Florence

We only stayed one night in this location, but doing it again, we would have used it as a base location traveling to the areas that we visited. The house was plenty big, private with a gated driveway, full kitchen, washer and heating racks for drying laundry. And has the best manager on VRBO who saved us from a desperate situation of not knowing what AdBlue was for a diesel rental and finding a store open at 6PM. I highly recommend this location.

Fantastic two weeks!

The property is absolutely gorgeous! We loved our two weeks stay here. The pool area was amazing and well equipped. We spent many days enjoying swimming, bbqing and playing ping pong! It is a short walk into Altopascio and there we found lots of lovely places to eat and drink. The train was so convenient in getting us to Pisa and Lucca. We were well taken care of with fresh bedding and towel’s provided halfway through our stay. We would very happily come back again!

Reise mit der Großfamilie

Ein sehr schönes, gut ausgestattetes Haus mit einem großen Außengelände und schönem Pool. Wir waren zu zehnt und haben uns teilweise selbst versorgt, was sehr gut möglich war. Die Lage zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung ist sehr gut. Wie man auf der Karte erkennen kann, liegt das Haus nah an der Autobahn und fußläufig zur Bahn. Beide hört man auch. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen, der Kontakt zur Vermieterin und zur Verwalterin war sehr nett.

Refreshing stay

This house is beautiful and had all that we needed. Isabella provided some wonderful refreshments for our arrival. The house is centrally located between Florence, Pisa, and Cinque Terra. While we were there the weather was vey hot so the pool served as a great reward at the end of each day's touring.

Alles toll!

Schönes Objekt in guter Lage. Alles vor Ort (Bäckerei, Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten). Tolle Ausstattung mit Liebe zum Detail. Super Kommunikation mit Hausverwaltung und schöner herzlicher Empfang. Umgebung ist nicht ganz ruhig (Autobahn, Zug, Hunde) störte uns aber nicht.

Perfect hosts and excellent location

Lovely welcome from Lory who was very informative about local attractions and tips on where to eat and drink. Villa was spacious with great facilities for the family. Train travel to Firenze and Lucca were great days out as well as meals in Altopascio, visits to the bread shop and of course Gelato! Would not hesitate to come back!

Superbe séjour

Nous étions 7 adultes à séjourner une semaine à la villa Cerine. La villa, très propre, correspondait tout à fait au descriptif et aux photos mises en ligne. Nous avons été merveilleusement accueillis par Isabella et Loredana. La terrasse avec pergola attenante à la piscine forment un espace superbe. Tout y est mis à disposition pour passer d’excellents moments. Concernant la découverte de la région, les sites de Lucca, Pise et Florence sont accessibles rapidement depuis la villa grâce à un accès à l’autoroute à Altopascio. Un grand merci à Loredana pour sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse.

Weston Family visit to Tuscany from the UK - August 2019

The property was exactly as marketed . It is a great base to travel easily in all directions within Tuscany so that you can visit all the famous sites but also so that you can just explore and find your own special places. When you return to Villa Cerine following busy days you are welcomed by great facilities and in particular the swimming pool which has its own bathroom and small kitchen area alongside the outside dining area. Loredana and Isabella are great hosts and available for anything that you may need. I would'nt hesitate to recommend Villa Cerine. The Weston Family

Beautiful property

We had a lovely holiday at Villa Cerine. Loredana was a life saver as we arrived late and in the dark due to delayed flights and lost luggage, she was there to meet us and had prepared a supper which was very kind. The house was immaculate and had everything you would need and the pool was a great bonus. The local town is lovely and only a short walk away with several restaurants and a great ice cream shop! We would love to go back:)

Just perfect

This is a lovely holiday house on the outskirt of Altopascio. The house itself has 4 good bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It is suitable for groups of adults ( we were 7 ) and families with children. The garden and swimming pool is beautiful with a lovely view towards the mountains on one side. It is like a little oasis in the middle of the country side, but is in fact only 5 min walk to the train station with good train connections to Lucca, Pisa and Florence. Yes you can hear the trains when lying by the pool, but you soon get used to it and it isn't really a problem, especially as the trains dosen't run during the night. Loredana the housekeeper is a total star and will help with anything you want including delivering fresh bread every morning. Altopascio itself may not be the most beautiful town in the world but the locals are very friendly and kind and will open their arms to you.We felt very wellcome. The little Bar/ Pattiserie you get to when you walk into the town from the house makes lovely coffees and drinks and also sells bread and snacks. There are several good Restaurants and a couple of very good places to get Italien ice creams. Market day is Thursday morning and well worth a visit. It takes about 5 - 7 min to walk to the centre of the town. I can not fault this place and is hoping to come back one day.

Absolutly perfect for families

A very nice house in the small village of Altopascio. Just five minutes walk from the train station witch will take you to the beautiful town of Lucca in 15 minutes or the beaches by Vieraggio in 35. But we still recommend you to arrive by car if you want to see more of the Toscany landscape and visit activities nearby. The saltwater pool welcomes you on a hot day and the child-room was perfect for our children (2 years old). The hosts are very welcoming and will help you as much as they can (could be helpful some times cause of culture and language difficulties). All by all we had a very, very good vacation!

Absolutely beautiful villa and pool was amazing. Altopascio train station is a 5 minute walk away and perfect for going to Florence, Pisa, Lucca and Viareggio - very cheap too. The town of Altopascio is very uncommercialised and has many nice places to eat - cheap wine and Prosecco in the supermarkets - and market day is worth a visit on a Thurs morning with many food stalls and clothing. We loved Lucca and went there several times as only 9 minutes from Altopascio on the train. Bedrooms very comfortable with air con - 3 lovely spacious bathrooms too. We ate in a couple of nights around the big dining table which was nice. I will definitely be going there again as its a good base for visiting the larger towns. Isabella the owner is very nice and made sure our stay was comfortable.
