"Our family loved our stay at Pa’s house! First time pulling into the Pa’s house property we knew it would be a great stay. The location worked perfect for our hiking adventures, most places were only a 20 min drive away. Several wineries were right down the road. You’re outside of town but can make a quick grocery run if needed. The work done inside and out of this old farm home was wonderfully done. We stayed there with 2 adults and 3 kids and there was everything you need for a weekend trip of...

"Nice place. We cooked meals inside on the stove but also over a fire at the fire pit. There is a small creek behind the cabin that runs when it rains out. That was pretty cool. No nearby light pollution so the sky is really dark at night and you can see a lot of stars. Overall a great experience. Two wineries close by. It's on the wine trail. Close to everything in Southern Illinois. We went to all the state parks."

"This is a piece of history. A photographers dream. It drew me into an hour of capturing images."

"Loved sitting under the big shade trees! The house is like a maze. So fun to discover all the rooms and loved playing the old organ in the sitting room. Reverse osmosis water filter was great to have for fresh drinking water."

"We were disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t working but the house was clean and everything else was great. They compensated us for the hot tub not working and were easy to communicate with. Five stars! "

"Loved my stay here! The attention to details is appreciated. The shower is amazing! Loved the main area for all to gather. Walking distance to The Iron Whisk and Fuzzy’s Bar is great. I didn’t love that it’s close to train tracks and that you can’t adjust your own thermostat."

"We will definitely book our next stay with this home as it was very very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The host is very easy to communicate with, even though we didn't need to contact her about anything during our stay because everything was perfect. Having a garage to park in was definitely a plus. The king beds were comfy and the kitchen was stock with everything that we needed. Thanks again."

"We throughly enjoyed the accommodations and plan I. Returning! Checking in was easy, and they worked with us on an earlier check in. Checking out process was very smooth and easy. We can’t wait to book our next trip."

"Overall, it was a good experience. The pond and zip line was very fun! Loved that it was a private pond and area for a large group. We celebrated my daughter's birthday and it was the perfect spot for her to have a sleepover with friends. However, some of the things on the listing were not as advertised. The pinball machines seemed to not be in working order and the foosball table did not have the original ball in it and was too small for the players to kick deeming it unplayable. There was also...
