"The Hotel for the price you pay was ok. The bed was clean, however no mattress protection was laid down. The bathroom was also clean. The rest of the room as not as clean as i would have hoped and looked tired. The location however is excellent! Parking was suffient and only a 3min walk in the famous all creatures great and small area. "

"We absolutely loved our stay. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you (without being over bearing). The whole place was spotless, the food was impeccable and it was very dog friendly. We wish we could’ve stayed longer! "

We thought the main bedding could be better with a bit more blackout curtain/blinds as the ambient lights outside were on for a longer period at night - these are some feedback for the sake of it. "Lovely room, with great views. Parked easily. Bar and lounge were a bit underwhelming and we didn’t stay downstairs. Breakfast was good. It was horrible weather when we arrived, it does need better lighting, you could barely see."

"We got to this property by chance. What a fun surprise. It is an old but very well kept inn. It has many beautiful hikes around. It is in the middle of nowhere. And that makes it even more fantastic. "

"A lovely hotel with friendly staff. The hotel was quiet when we were there but we made very welcome and there were some lovely extras in the room. The towels were very fluffy!! Highly recommend "

"I felt comfortable soon has i walked in staff where lovely, the only thing was they had a power cut for 12 hours and it was pitch black in the bedroom i know its not there fault but i have a walking disability which i try to keep to my self. But other than that i have had a fantastic stay."

"Clean room, lovely bar, nice range of drinks. Nice sunday dinner, great atmosphere, log fire bar. Breakfast was the usual cereals etc, bacon, toast, sausage was Richmond (not my preferred). Nice fresh croissants and goot drink selection I have stayed before and will stay again due to price, location, lovely romantic stay"
