Prairie's Cottage at Sage Guesthouse formerly the 19th Hole

  • Light-Filled Modern Guest Suite. Located on the south side of the Alpine Country Club golf course.
    This house features three bedrooms with a full kitchen. Golf course outside the front door and easy access to local attractions. Guests have noted that this suite is nicely located, away from the train horns!
    The space
    The 1100 sq. ft. building looks like a garage on the outside but not on the inside! The building has never had a car in it, but housed an office after which it was converted to a quality contemporary living space. Enjoy floor to ceiling windows, a great location, and deluxe appointments.
    Located in one of the few areas in Alpine with high speed fiber internet.

This is an absolutely lovely property right in the middle of town, so it’s close to everything. You can walk to the park, baseball games, or swimming pool! The beds are so comfortable and the host is just the sweetest man that was extremely helpful with anything/everything we needed. Definitely staying here again

Quiet getaway

This property was very nice, clean, and comfortable. It's more spacious than it seems in the pics and we loved that there was a community pool nearby. We would definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area!

West Texas getaway

Convenient location in Alpine with easy access to BBNP, the Davis Mountains and Marfa. Property was as described and shown in the VRBO online listing. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Girls get away

The perfect location and comfort we needed. We enjoyed our home away from home . We loved seeing the deer on the golf course in the morning and the relaxing backyard in the evening. We will definitely return again

Amazing Property, Amazing Town

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, in Alpine. It is a wonderful place from where we can visit Big Bend State and National Parks. Excellent property and communication with our host made our stay memorable. We were with our full family (grand parents, parents, children) and we felt at home here.

Love coming to Alpine a couple times a year, and this place was delightful. Charming unconventional layout in a quiet area, lovely outdoor seating. Its central location means it’s easy to walk all around town from it. Owner was responsive and made the check in process simple. Highly recommend.

Quiet location with a nice, treed backyard and the front has a view of the golf course. 5 beds in 3 separate rooms, with a very large bathroom. Plenty of parking and less than a mile from the downtown area.

Loved the place Mr. Bob was very nice. The house was clean, lots of privacy and int the perfect location. Will definitely be revisiting!

Great place to stay!

We’ve stayed here a couple of times now and we enjoy it. The place is always kept up nice and it’s in a very convenient location. The host communicates effectively and is prompt at responding.

Golf and Big Bend Hiking

The property was excellent clean and had every convenience. It was close to the golf course and Big Bend National Park was an hour away We relaxed in the back yard with a fire and read and enjoyed the back yard The owner was an excellent host and showed us every courtesy I would come back again

Memorable!!

My wife, son, and I took a mini vacation to West Texas to hike in the Davis Mountains and Big Bend National Park. We wanted to stay somewhat central to the two so we decided on Alpine and are so happy that we did. Mr. Stovell’s place was PERFECT for what we needed. We enjoyed our stay and made lasting memories. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area!
