Stay at Magnolia

Magnolia is a super apartment with sea views and in the beautiful Old Town. shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Karen and Costas met us and drove us up to the village, which is really kind. And hiring their car allowed us to see a lot of the Island- essential! Thanks Karen and Costas, we loved it and Alonissos.

Fabulous getaway for two!

We absolutely loved it here! Nothing we could fault with the property, surroundings and wonderfully welcoming owners. The complete process of booking and actually being at the apartment was faultless. Karen and Costas are wonderful hosts and will do anything to help make your stay so enjoyable. The apartment is wonderfully placed for easy access to everything in The Old Town as it overlooks the main street, so access to the shops/bars and tavernas are on your doorstep. With wonderful views on both sides of the apartment with plenty of space within, it was a great place to stay and we would highly recommend it.

Magnolia

We were picked up at the port by the friendly owners and taken to the apartment which was spotless and well stocked. It was lovely not having to go and buy essentials as they are generously provided. The views from the balconies are superb and the furniture nice and comfy. There are plenty of tavernas and a mini market in the Old Village and a bus to Patitiri. We hired a car, using the company recommended by Karen and saw as much as possible of the island and found our favourite beaches. I thoroughly recommend Karen and Kostos beautiful apartment.

Magnolia Apartment - Amazing from start to finish!

Magnolia Apartments is a wonderful place to stay on Alonissos. Located in the old village, you can literally walk out of your door and be amongst all the best restaurants and bars on the island. There is even a bakery down below with the best spanakopita! The apartment is very private and with double glazed windows, it is also quiet. A huge bonus is that the apartment has its own parking spot. There is a full bedroom and sofa bed in the spaceous living room. The front balconies overlook the main pathway up through the village, and the back balcony enjoys a gorgeous sea view. I can't say enough good things about Karen and Kosta, who were there to assist with anything we needed throughout our stay.

Très bel appartement au cœur de old Alonissos !

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans cette petite villa très bien située au cœur du village, très confortable et bien équipée. Nous avons particulièrement profité de la terrasse avec vue sur mer d’un côté, du balcon donnant sur la rue principale de l’autre, tout ce dont nous rêvions ! Thank you again Karen and Kostas for your kindness.

Tolle Unterkunft im old town

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und sehr zentral. Es war sehr praktisch das die Unterkunft direkt im Old town war da man Abends dort wunderbar essen gehen kann. Das Haus war sehr sauber (wurde während unserem 10 tägigen Aufenthalt drei mal geputzt) und hatte eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Kostas, der Besitzer, war sehr nett und hat sich um alles gekümmert und war immer sehr hilfsbereit. Leider war es Abends ein bisschen laut weil direkt vor der Haustür Restaurants und Bars sind. Im großen und ganzen ist die Unterkunft perfekt für eine Familie wenn man zentral wohnen möchte.

Magnolia Apartment in Alonissos

Me and my wife spent our holidays in Karen and Kostas apartment. We think that we can’t found a better place! First of all, Karen and Kostas are really nice people, super gentle and professional since the first contact till the end. They gave us many suggestions, help us with reservations for rent a bike in Alonissos, they pick up us at our arrival and for departure, provide towels also for the beach and they clean the house every 3 days!....so the first added value of the apartment are the owners!! After that, the house is so nice, like you can see in pictures and also better: clean, with all comforts, air conditioned and a beautiful view on the sea from the big windows or on the balcony, fantastic place for breakfast or dinner. The location is perfect, exactly in the middle of the old village, with bakery, mini market and many restaurants and bar just out of the door! A beautiful surprise! And in the evening there’s a magic atmosphere! Also perfect for move everyday for a new beach, or go in 5 minutes to Megalo Mourtias ( really nice) or Mikros Mourtias (for us one of the best 3 beaches of the island) or to Yalia.... In few words, we spent beautiful and relaxing days on this island and in/thankful this beautiful apartment. We can only recommend it to who want to visit Alonissos: choose it and you didn’t regret. And many thanks to Karen and Kostas for such a kindness. See you next time! Roberto and Francesca

Isola molto bella con un mare meravigloso e panorami stupendi

La casa è molto confortevole, al centro della Kora vicinissima a ristoranti e negozi. Le stanze sono ben arredate e confortevoli in ottima condizione. Ogni tre giorni viene effettuato il cambio della biancheria. I proprietari Kostas e Karen sono discreti e sempre disponibili. Veramente un'ottima sistemazione che consiglio a chi decide di visitare alonissos

Beautiful Island, Lovely Apartment, Great Hosts

This was our second time in Alonnisos island and in Magnolia apartment. Karen and Kostas are very caring and exceptional hosts. The apartment is beautiful, very cosy and has all the amenities one may need during his/her vacations, plus, the view from the balcony is beautiful.The location is ideal, there are many restaurant-tavernas around and a mini market close-by. Beautiful Apartment with Excellent Facilities

We had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous apartment which has every modern facility you could wish for. The location is perfect for enjoying everything the old town has to offer and the outside space gives you the option to enjoy the buzz in the street in the evening, while you can also escape to the tranquillity of the rear balcony to enjoy the terrific views. Karen and Kostas were so kind and helpful, taking us to and from the port as well as taking us into Patitiri when the local bus wasn't running. We honestly can't fault this place and would recommend to anyone who is considering a visit to this wonderful island. Thank you both for making our stay so perfect. Best Wishes Kevin and Pauline

Great flat, great owner, great Island

Karen nous a accueillis au port de Patitiri et nous a conduits au Old Village.L' appartement est très bien équipé, spacieux et calme. La propreté est impeccable. La grande terrasse a une vue magnifique! En milieu de séjour, le linge de maison a été changé et le ménage fait. Nous avions aussi une place de parking privé pour garer notre scooter! Les boutiques, restaurants et moyens de transport sont à proximité immédiate. Karen a été discrète, serviable et attentionnée. Nous recommandons vivement ce bel appartement à toute personne!

beautiful cosy apartment in the old village

we really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. it was well equipped (especially in the kitchen and stuff for the beach)and pretty clean. further it is well located - close to the mini market, the bus station and the bakery. the hosts Karen and Costas are very friendly and helpful; they also picked us up from the port. we would recommend it 100 %ly :)

Beautiful stay in a comfortable, lovely apartment

We had a beautiful time in Karen's and Kostas very nice apartment in the Hora of Alonissos! Everything new, a very nice terrasse and an amazing view. Karen and Kostas are excellent hosts and everything is organized perfect. Das Apartment ist wunderbar im alten Dorf von Alonissos gelegen. Ein kleiner Supermarkt und sämtliche gastronomischen Möglichkeiten liegen quasi direkt vor der Haustür. Das Apartment ist großzügig ausgestattet, alles ist sehr neuwertig und funktioniert perfekt. Karen und Kostas sind wunderbare Gastgeber, die einem bereits im Fährhafen herzlich willkommen heißen und mit dem Fahrzeug bis in das Apartment bringen. Karen steht auch jederzeit mit Tipps zur Verfügung. Wir haben uns, trotz zweier Regentage, außerordentlich wohl in der Wohnung gefühlt und können diese nur wärmstens empfehlen. Alonissos ist genau der richtige Ort zum "Durchatmen", abschalten, Natur genießen und für "Seele baumeln lassen". Danke Karen, für die tolle Woche!

Our stay in Magnolia Apartment

We loved this apartment. It was great having all the mod cons right in the heart of the Old Village. It is well kitted out and we enjoyed all the little extra comforts provided - beach towels, bath robes, etc. Our top tip is getting your carry out meals from the snack bar called Peri Orexios (which is only 50 yards down the street) and enjoy with a bottle of wine on the terrace overlooking the Two Brothers, while watching the moon rise. Dead romantic! The location was ideal as a starting point for many an enjoyable walk, including down to the beach. We found the description of the layout of the apartment and the facilities available to be accurate. The property was spotless and you could see it was well maintained. Karen is very friendly. She met us at the port and drove us up to the apartment. She was always keen to make sure we had everything we needed and looked after us really well. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone considering a holiday on Alonissos. Go there, relax and enjoy. You won't regret it.

Wonderful days in Alonissos

We spent the last days in September in Magnolia apartement in Alonissos and we enjoyed these days very much ! The apartement was excellent, very clean and so fully equipped, we had never seen before. We had a wonderful time in Alonissos and enjoyed bathing and walking to the chapels of Agii Anargiri, the hill of Vigla and to the small harbour of Steni Vala. We know a lot of Greek islands, bur Alonissos is one of the most beautiful of them ! I would say, Alonissos is a little bit like Greece in the former days and if you love Greece (as we do!) you will love Alonissos. Dear Karen, we hope we can make it possible to come to your beautiful island next year and see you again (we don´t forget the drink!) Best wishes from Austria ! Johanna and Dietmar

good stay, nice accomodation

My wife Daniela and I spent 9 days at Magnolia, late August 2014. We often travel greek islands, this time we choose to stay in the chora for our first visit to Alonissos. Magnolia is a good accomodation, totally up to its description and reviews. Furniture is not local, but it is brand new and very comfortable.We reccomend. Alonissos is a great place to discover day after day, taking time to drive to the more isolated beaches and smaller places. As always, Greece is great ... amazing sea, fun food, good people !

Simply the best you can have

Very lovely apartment! I think we couldn't have nothing better since the apartment is equipped with every comfort and it is placed in a very good position. If we will go in Alonissos again we will stay in Magnolia apartment!

Just like a faitytale...

The apartment is just like the photos or even more better.Karen and Kostas, the owners are very friendly and willing to tell all the tips to have a great vacation on the island.Spectacular view at the one balcony to the sea, but my favorite one is the front balcony with the view at the palaia chora.The apartment have everything we need.We will definitely come visit again.The location of the apartment is at the old town and for me that place is like a set up for a movie...Thank u, Karen and Kostas and we will visit the island again and the magnolia apartment...

Fantastic apartment in great location

From the moment we were met at the port by Karen and Kostas we knew we were in for a lovely time. The apartment was delightful - beautifully furnished as we expected, but with the added bonus of having two super balconies. The rear balcony had fantastic views out to sea while the front balcony overlooked the main street leading up into the old village and this was where we'd often sit with a nice glass of wine in the evening watching people come and go. Despite the location the apartment was never troubled by noise and we enjoyed a very relaxing time there. The old village has an abundance of good tavernas and there is a very nice bar just 100 metres or so from the apartment (can't remember the name but it had a gorgeous bougainvillea plant outside the door) where we were well looked after by Christina and co. Our hosts Karen and Kostas were very helpful and unobtrusive, offering useful advice on beaches etc. We had a super time; the apartment has everything you could possibly need and Karen even supplied her homemade lemon marmalade which was delicious! Would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a genuinely relaxing holiday in an idyllic setting. The stairs up into the apartment might be a problem for anyone with mobility difficulties but otherwise everything was in excellent condition and of good quality. We'll be back!

Appartamento Meraviglioso

Appartamento meraviglioso e molto ben arredato. I propietari sono persone molto gentili e assolutamente deliziosi. La location è magnifica in quanto lungo la strada pedonale del più bel paesino dell'isola. Nonostante sia sulla strda del paesino e quindi di sera ci sia molto passeggio, è molto silenzioso in quanto dotato di doppi vetri e di sistema di condizionamento. Abbiamo passato una settimana meravigliosa. Assolutamente consigliabile per una coppia o anche per una famiglia di quattro persone

Appartamento incantevole

L'appartamento è veramente incantevole. Molto ben arredato e attrezzato. I proprietari sono squisiti e molto gentili. La location è favolosa in quanto all'inizio del più bel paesino dell'isola. Essendo sulla stradina (pedonale) del paese alla sera è un po' rumoroso ma l'appartamento ha i doppi vetri e l'aria condizionata quindi è assolutamente confortevole anche di notte. Lo consigliamo caldamente.
