Home from Home in a lovely Craster Cottage

A lovely and very well appointed cottage next to the sea. Craster is a great location to stay, very quiet and relaxing with easy access to local walks and to other beautiful locations along the Northumberland coast.

Another wonderful, relaxing stay

This is our second time staying at Driftwood. We love everything about the cottage. It’s the perfect place to stay in Craster and we feel immediately at home the minute we arrive. So cozy, clean and perfectly equipped with beautiful decor.

Great stay

Great stay at Driftwood. A well appointed, beautifully furnished, comfortable property. Super clean and everything that you could need has been thought of including a lovely welcome basket. The wood burner really came into its own when it snowed!

Amazing retreat at Craster

This is our 4th visit to a Catch the Breeze property in Craster Driftwood was just as amazing as the others and we had a wonderful week Long walks alone the costal path and beaches Lovely scenery the highlight perhaps was the Artic Tern nesting ground near Beadnell Amazing week thanks to Catch the Breeze again

Another lovely stay in a perfect cosy cottage. Ideal for exploring the Northumberland coast path or visiting all the other local attractions, followed by a stroll to the pub in the evening.

Everything fabulous.. accomdation impeccable- as always. I keep coming back to the cottage for various reasons- too many to list here but everything around you is just so good for the soul! From cliff tops to castles- smokery and pubs- and glorious history around you Flawless accommodation- meticulous attention to detail - and yes- nothing is too much trouble from the first booking to departure ..

Perfect coastal retreat

Excellent location in Craster with sea view and amazing pub a 5min walk away. Great walks direct from the cottage This was our third stay at Driftwood and the transformation is amazing. 2 good sized bedrooms, a lovely open plan living/dining/kitchen and very well equipped and stylish. Lovely small front garden

A splendid 2 week stay at the above cottage in Craster. An extremely comfortable property with all that you would need to make the stay very enjoyable. All furnishings, towels and bed linen were of the highest quality. A good place to stay with a view to visiting points of interest in the near and further away area.

Perfect

Beautiful place, incredibly well provisioned and comfortable. Absolutely intend to return here, and to try out some of the other properties - our neighbours during our stay said how lovely the other cottages were too and that they'd stayed in multiple. Private parking spot, enormous, soft towels, thoughtful welcome pack and just a simply gorgeous spot!

Driftwood is a beautiful cottage overlooking Craster harbour. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, is well equipped and furnished to a high standard. Having stayed in Catch the Breeze accommodation previously, Driftwood certainly matched up to my high expectations.

Fabulous return to Craster

Lovely return to Driftwood. So very comfortable and clean with everything we needed for in-house catering and a generous welcome pack, thank you. Can recommend excellent meals at the Jolly Fisherman and outstanding wood fired pizza from Embers at Eleanor’s Byre. We’ll be back!

We had a great holiday at the cottage

The cottage was excellent in every department . Clean , well equipped and in great location . There is lots to do in and around Craster & the cottage was the perfect place to explore them from . Will be back again .
